A Cheap Date

Cupid

The day after Henry's big day at the neurologist, Cupid had an appointment with our local vet for some follow up blood work as related to her thyroid issues. We are still waiting on those results. But this is not about her results. This is about Cupid being a cheap date at the vet.

Let's just say that Henry is 5 star pug at the vet and in comparison, Cupid likes to camp. Cupid reminds us why we are cat lovers in addition to dog lovers. Cats typically require so much less from your pocketbook. LOL

And look how well Cupid does in the car. She is just sitting there like a good little meowzer. She travels well and is the belle of lobby ball at the vet's office. She says she doesn't need no stinking box. She goes like a pug (in a harness and leash) and does a superb job. #CupidISaPug!

Awww, Cupid is so cute! I guess from being the sister of pugs, some of their pug-i-tude rubbed off and she don’t need that stupid carrier!  lol

So Cupid is a super star. Cupid is such a good kitty.

What’s this you say about cats requiring so much less from the pocketbook?  Frankie is on a prescription diet that costs $38 for a 7 lb. bag.  His vet visits have not always been cheap.  In fact he has been at the vet’s since Monday morning because of a bladder infection.  I think this is partially my fault because I rescued a kitten who was out in the cold, very hungry.  Kitten food, which I monitored, but not as closely as I would have liked, became too enticing for Frankie, so he snuck in to eat Katie’s kitten food.  Then one day he decided he wanted a venture outside and when I opened the door for the dogs, he snuck behind me and rushed out. He was gone for 5 hours and heaven knows what he got into while out.

I admit this may not be as costly as what you have had to put out, but Frankie ain’t cheap.

BTW I was able to find Katie a good home, but I miss that little scamp.  Feeding kitten food, prescription diet, senior small bites and adult small bites was a bit more than I was able to completely monitor.

Here’s hoping for the best results for #CupidISaPug.
