“For Me? Of course it is!  I can smell it!
It is the ultimate, my favorite… PUMPKIN BREAD!
Come to me….  come to me… the bag will fall over and onto the floor, for meeee! ...
OK I will also share with Henry & Luna…now fall to the floor!!!”

Why is my pumpkin bread still up there unopened?  I’m supposed to be eating it right now - oh please open the bag!

here is my mission, if I choose to accept I will be rewarded with pumpkin bread.
ok, be calm, be cool.  Think this out.  If I open the cabinet, climb up on a shelf, grab onto the counter, lift myself up, rip open the bag, paw through the container; then the pumbkin bread will be mine!  Mission Impossible?  I think Mission Completed!!!

This is a classic good news/bad news situation.
Good news: There’s pumpkin bread.
Bad news:  I CAN’T GET IT!

What you are witnessing is the rare attempt by the Pug species to harness their latent “laser lasso eye” ability.

Martha,
LOL!!!  It is good news/bad news!
And lets talk about how mean the mom is for putting it there, within nose-sniffing, but not within eating!  That is just WRONG!  Bad mom!

Patty, that’s a wonderful quote!  Did it really mention the pumpkin bread though??  What a hoot if it did!

Patty

Karen, no the pumpkin bread addition was Benny’s idea.  I don’t really know if Luciano Pavarotti ate pumpkin bread - although I think he ate most everything else!  LOL
