Follow The Nose

Henry

With the onset of cooler weather, upped meds and just general pug appetite, Henry cannot lay off the desire to eat and follow smells.

When he could see, Henry never considered that his food bowl came from the fridge. But now that he is driven by his nose and not his eyes, he realizes that his food is stored there. And even if is not time to eat, if he is nearby when the fridge door opens, he needs to poke his little nose in there. Following his nose, however, is the whole rest of his body. This makes it tough to close the fridge door when he has inserted himself in there once the door is open. He reminds me of a teenager coming home from school with the munchies trying to decide what he is going to snack on.

For a short time I wondered how pug hair made it into the refrig. Then I realized that one of them (only one fits at a time), was squeezing in just as Henry is doing whenever hubby went to get a snack - - two of a kind - -hubby and pug.  Always thinking Snacks.

Glad Henry’s nose works so well as he keeps his peeps on their toes.  Keep on keeping on Henry!

...and his little curly tail is down.  Does that mean he is using the sympathy ploy to get to the food?  You pugs are good at that to get to your humans, but Henry I believe that doesn’t always work fo you.

Yes, definitely #SillyHenry.

I wonder what Henry’s first choice would be, if he could make a selection from what the refrigerator has within?  Could there be some lunch meat maybe?  Or even some delectable leftover burgers?

How cute is he?!?!?! But does he just stand there…if that were Vito he would be trying to open those drawers or up on his hind legs seeing what he could pull out?!?!?! Luigi will do that if I leave the pantry door open by mistake. Did that last night when I went up to change after I got home from work…Luigi went in got up on his hind legs and pulled down a bag of pine nuts. When I got back downstairs there were pine nuts all over the floor in the pantry!
