Laps

Here is a nice little video of Benjamin running around the living room.  A couple things to note, in the beginning you will see Sol just watching Benny acting all crazed.  Look closely and you will also see the other old lady of the house, Cupid, watching and laughing at Benny.  And at the end you will see Henry chewing on the cat sack / cat bed that Sol likes so much.  One more thing, you might need to take some dramamine because I am all over the place in this video trying to keep at least one pug in the frame.  Sound is also recommended so you can hear Benny jingling about and panting.

I’m ready to go back to bed after watching Benny.  He is so funny and I don’t think Sol has completely figured out just what is going on.  Luna and Cupid are Benny’s audience. Is Henry trying to calm down little Benny?

I’m so glad I found this sight because at least I’m finding out that my pugs are normal pugs. Love the video!

In my house we call those crack sprints. My little boy will take off and circle the coffee table and run up and down the hallway like that. I agree, its nice to know that my pug isnt the only one that does this!

I our house we call that “getting the turbos”!  Spanky (the Shar Pei) tries really hard to get Sassy (the pug)to chase him, she tries, but gives up quickly because he is too fast.  BTW, Spanky would love your house because he would be leaping over the tile to try to stay on the carpeted areas.  In our house he leaps from the carpet in the living room over the wood floor the to carpet we have under our dining room table.  It is so funny to watch.

Every day when my husband gets home from work Lucy gets him to chase her all the way around the living room and dining room with intermittant periods of heavy panting like Benny. My husband, like Henry does with Benny, learned quickly that you don’t have to actually chase her very far to get her going, just a few steps and she takes off like a tail-tucked rocket. Sol cracks me up, when Benny goes whizzing by she looks like she’s saying, “What the h___!”

I’m exhausted just watching those antics! ...now if only they can figure out a way to bottle that energy!!
Yet another example of our little clowns working OT to entertain the masses. One of about a million reason that I love them so much!!

This is so funny!!!  I love to sit with C.J. and Toeby when they’re out of breath like that and mimmick their breathing back at them!

I can just hear Cupid:  “Pugs have no self-control OR pride!  I wouldn’t be caught dead acting like that!”  (Because we all know that cats are far too dignified to act that way!)

Ahahahahahahaha…that was great.  I miss those days…the “nutties”, as we call them here, are few and far between nowadays.  Benjamin’s janglin’ got Bax all flustered over here…*giggle*...Loved the action from the gang!  grin

How’d we do for Belle??  Is she any closer to her transport to her forever home??

That was a riot!  The sound effects are as funny as the antics!  Our 6 month old black pug Baxter does the same thing and we crack up.  We call it “getting a jig on” and I am happy to see she is a “normal” crazy pug and will continue to make us laugh as she gets older. Thanks for the laugh!
