Luna

First, I want to start off by thanking everyone for the well wishes and positive thoughts. It means a lot and is very helpful when trying to get through stressful days like yesterday.

Luna has been doing very well since coming home yesterday evening. As soon as she got some dinner she was ready to snooze. She was happy to snuggle on the couch with us, but when we went to bed, she got super excited. She couldn't wait to get up on the big bed and do some serious snoozing. About 1 minute after I put her on the bed she was sawing logs.

I haven't had a chance to get pictures of her stitches. I know she has 6 stitches in her ear, but I'm not sure how many she has on her elbow. When I normally pet Luna, I usually give her a scratch behind her ear, so I have to be really careful not to fall into old habits and pet her stitched up ear.

She doesn't seem to be in much pain, although she is on a pain med for the next few days. Today, she seems very content to sleep, so that is what we are going to let her do.

Thank you so much for the update on Sweetie Luna. I am sure you are all exhausted from the anxiety of the past few days. Luna has quite a fan club and we are all waiting for good news from the path report.

So happy she is resting comfortably. I’m sure the pain meds are making her tired, and rest is the best thing for her right now. While thinking of little Luna and her ordeal, we are also thinking of you Corrine, and your hubby. You are having some anxious days and doing a marvelous job keeping us informed. I am so happy to hear Miss Luna is doing good I am hoping the path results are in soon with good results its hard and stressful just with the surgery but just aa hard waiting on the results I know we are all saying prayers and sending good thoughts Corrine thank you for keeping us updated I know we all feel the same we are OBP family

Corrine - I am much encouraged by your update and I’m sure you are too; rather cautiously optimistic. I second what Sue VDB and sue and all the others as well. I guess everyone is holding their breath waiting for the good news. Luna has a big family out here being positive as well.

Glad miss luna is doing well, can imagine she must be tired. I remember when our pekingese went for surgery, he was bone tired and loopy but recovered within a few days. So i can imagine what Luna is going through…
