Old Habits

Henry

The sun has been shining and that means that Henry has become a permanent fixture in the yard. The only way to get him back into the house is to pick him up and carry him. And even then he practically turns himself inside out to avoid being picked up.

I know he enjoys the sun, but I think he is also drawn to rolling around in the dirt and grass because he just got a bath this week. He has to do something to get that clean feeling off of him. We'll see if we can't do something this weekend that will dirty him up a bit.

If he is back to his old habits that means he is feeling more like his old self again which is terrific! Wish I could beam myself right into that pic and hang out on the grass with you Henry!

I’m smiling to see Henry taking a sun-bath in the yard!  He’s adorable!

When Bennie doesn’t want to move, he uses the same technique of passive resistance!  When he does, I call him my rag-pug.  It’s as if he has no bones or muscles, and he’s soooo hard to pick up!

Gee Wheez mom, just a few more minutes.Glad to hear Henry is getting back to his old self. We have sunshine here, but with 2 degrees and snow-well Solsie won’t be doing any rolling around anytime soon. Pug hugs from pastor sue & the Colorado 2

It’s nice to see him enjoying the things he has always loved.

My heart is warmed by the sight of Henry being Henry once again.  Keep on keepin on baby boy.

Wonder if we will see a “dirty” Henry Monday.

What a picture perfect pose, Mr. Henry.  My Lily turns into a puddle of mush when I try to pick her up too.  Glad you are feeling better and getting back to the usual things, Henry!

My Henry does that too!  Usually on the deck.  We call it his “85 pound pug” trick.  If you have to pick him up, he seems to weigh 4 or 5 times as much as when the sun isn’t shining.

Enjoy that sun Henry and please send some up to northern Ohio because we need some.
