Table for One

Henry

Cupid has always eaten at her own special spot in a little bar area in the kitchen. This has kept her food safe from the pugs and allows her to graze all day. However, as she has aged, getting up to her special little eating area has proven more challenging. We moved a chair over to assist her, but recently that has become too much for her. So, we bought her a small table and gave her a new setup in the kitchen. We even got her a step stool to assist in getting on the table.

And wouldn't you know that Cupid's new table is getting quite a bit of attention for hungry Henry. At first he would just stand next to the table and smell. But, now he is getting a tad braver and is using the step stool to get a better view. How long do you think it will be until he uses the step stool to get on the table and help himself to some kitty food?

I don’t think it will take Henry long nothing can stop a puggy from food

Henry, my bets are on you.

Welcome to the food circus.  Annie is on small breed adult food, Missy is on small breed senior food, Frankie is on prescription urinary food and Katie (for whom I found a loving home and turns out to be a he not a she) was on kitten food.  Making sure everyone ate their own food (especially Frankie) turned out to be a food circus for sure. I was the mean food monitor, especially when they all decided they wanted to switch.

“Oh! Hi Mom.  Just checking that Cupid has enough food for breakfast”.

And Ann, thank you for answering my question about the type of dog food the other day.

Nothing comes between a pug and food, so not very long.

It’s never just a table for one with a pug around! I would share my food with you any day Henry:)

Not much longer!!

Personally, I think the only thing holding him back right now is that he knows you don’t want him to.  But one day soon, he’ll decide to just go for it!

Soon Henry, very soon!

Sue VDB!! Love your circus story. I babysit a yorkie everyday and a doxie every now and then. When it’s feeding time, I am the mean food monitor too. So funny.

LOL! Oh Henry won’t take long. I know you all won’t believe this but here it’s Daisey the Boston that I need to watch so she doesn’t eat Solsie the pug’s food. Solsie doesn’t always eat-I KNOW a pug that doesn’t EAT?! Pug hugs from pastor sue & the Colorado 2

It won’t take Henry long to figure it out. He is such a smart and handsome pug. Y’all are the best pet parents ever!!!!! Sue, so glad you found a good home for Katie.  She was very blessed that you were in the donut shop that day.
