Waves

Henry

Since the water was warm, Henry was having fun running in and out of the ocean. He would run into the water about chest deep, splash around a bit and hop back to shore at full steam.

Since it was a nice day out there were lots of boats passing. Of course the boats left a wake. Henry being Henry plows right through the waves washing ashore. I was lucky enough to manage to get a picture of Henry jumping through one of the tiny waves. Tiny to us, but pretty big to a pug I would imagine.

Awwww, just look at him!  Henry, you are one little daredevil, but oh so smart…look at you keeping your nose above the wave while you ride it in like a pro!  Love these photos and love seeing Henry in the waves, my kinda boy!  Lots of love and kisses to you Handsome!

Henry’s such a game guy - up for anything!  I just LOVE to see his spunk.  You can tell he sees the World as his very own Pugkin bar!  LUV, LUV, LUV those pugs!!

It looks like Henry found some tasty waves!!  Thank you for beach pics this week - Cleveland has been so cold and the beach pugs have really cheered us up!

Debbie - “Hang 20 little dude!!” - so cute.

Love Henry’s attitude.  Georgie would be like Henry, Abby like Luna, and I’m not sure where Gracie would fall but wherever she was you could count on her being deviled by Cooper who will not let her alone no matter what. Ahhhhhhhh, Boxers and Pugs!

Corrine I have a question do the pugs ever try to drink the salt water?

The look on his face in the second pic is pure happiness. I absolutely love it!

I think I’ve said this before that I’m a cold weather girl. I prefer being cold to being hot however… I have to admit the thought of warm water on a beach with the sun shining sounds PERFECT about right now. It is cold, cloudy and rainy right now in Omaha. ugh. I’m ready for Spring. Pip is too!

Henry, you look like you are having the tiime of your life. That look on your face is priceless. Thanks again to everyone for the thoughts and prayers. Woke up this am to the beautiful sound of rain. Not sure if it is enough to put out the big fires in North Texas, but it is making everyone breathe a little easier.

“Catch a wave, and you’r sittin’ on top of the world!”

Anyone remember that song besides me?  Henry looks “on top of the world”!  He really is a water-pug, isn’t he?  I bet he wishes now that he had waves in his pool at home!

Roberta

Brenda, hope you get a lot more rain, but not so much as to cause flooding.  Heather has the right idea, take the babies out in the rain, if only for a minute.

Karen, I remember too…such pleasant memories.

The last picture of Henry just makes me smile so much I had to put it as my background.

All right you Beach Boys groupies, their songs do kinda go round and round don’t they.  Saw a PBS documentary on them and it was fascinating (but this was months and months ago.  Catch it if it comes around again.

Guess we’ll all keep doing the rain dance but happy to hear of rain in the air.  Good luck, Brenda.

Sue S - what did you do to keep the blizzard at bay?  But, thank you! wink

I LOVE this picture of Henry jumping the wave!

I love everything about it: his little ears flapping, one leg up out of the water, but most of all the scrunched up expression on his handsome face!

Sue - The pugs do a really good job and do not drink the salt water.  They don’t even seem to be tempted by it.  But, pool water….that is a different story.

Corrine, do they drink their bath water?  C.J. does, I think it’s just a nervous habit but I have to keep lifting his head up and out of the water!
