Pugs and pictures go hand in hand, so as pug owners I know that you have a ton of adorable pictures of your pug. Well, do I have good news. WE tv is holding a Picture Perfect Puppy Contest and the grand prize winner will received $5, 000. Plus, two second prize winners will receive $2, 500. Not bad!

The Deatricks in Bolingbrook, Illinois are asking anyone that may have information on their missing pug, Pixie, to contact the Bolingbrook police or Crimestoppers. Pixie was stolen from the family’s home along with other personal belongings during a robbery last week.
Pixie is a year and a half old and is fawn color. The family is offering a $4500 reward or Pixie’s safe return.
Great News! Pixie has been reunited with her family.

On Friday, March 23, 2007 from 3PM to 5PM EST you can chat online with ASPCA Pet Poison Experts. The chat session is a great opportunity to find out more information about specific foods or household items that you may be wondering if they are safe for your pug.
Anyone can join in on the chat, all you will need to do is register with the ASPCA Online Community. Registration is free and easy.

On Thursday, March 15, 2007 Marc Tetro will be auctioning a few of his paintings on eBay to benefit Compassionate Pug Rescue. Tetro’s work is amazing and he has a unique way of connecting with animal lovers with his animal themed pieces. The auctions starting on Thursday are a great opportunity to purchase a few pieces of Tetro’s spectacular work and support Compassionate Pug Rescue at the same time.

Pug Rescue of Florida and Central Florida Pug Rescue are holding their 5th Annual PugsGiving event on November 18, 2006 from 10am until 3pm in Lakeland, FL. Admission to the event is free and there will be plenty of games, contests and raffles. PugsGiving is a great chance to meet plenty of pugs and other pug lovers and, best of all, all proceeds from the event benefit pug rescue!
