Oh Henry! It has been a very long winter and I can see you are wondering “Where the heck is spring?” You certainly are one handsome baby.

Henry, as usual, what a handsome fellow you are, You are waiting for Spring, we didn’t have Autumn, we just went straight into Winter here in the Southern Hemisphere.
Sad, extremely sad news, our beloved recent adoptee, Miz Daisy crossed over the Rainbow Bridge at 15h30 this afternoon, she had not eaten supper last night, nor breakfast this morning, Oki and I found her later on the floor in the kitchen, she had been sick and messed herself, we washed her gently, wrapped her in a warm blankie and set her on her bed next to the fire place. She seemed OK, not stressed. I was sitting on the couch near her and saw her turn, got down to reassure her, and she died in my arms. She had only been with us a month, although we had known her for years. Understandably we are heartbroken and I still have to tell her other parents [living in Malawi] that she has passed over.
We lost our beloved Boet on the 5th of February, he died heroically, saving Oki by going between Oki and a Wild Pig [they call them Razor Backs]
So we are truly distraught, loosing two children is less than 6 weeks.
Sorry Henry, Grannygoogs is so sad, but you are still a beautiful boy!
