Sweet Hera has passed on to the Rainbow Bridge. This is what her mommy had to say about her:
“Hera was 12 years old in January, and passed away on September 29, 2015. I fostered her from October 2008 until June 2009 when I officially adopted her. Through the years, she has had many medical issues and endured them all until this last one. Through it all, she was the happiest pug ever even with her disability of not being able to walk anymore and which affected her with urinating and bowel movements. We took care of her as best as we could and treated her like royalty – and she knew it! Hera knew I was always there for her – I could see it in her eyes even until the last day when she knew she was very sick. I am glad she’s not suffering any more and is at peace. I know she is dancing on all fours in doggie heaven with Lydia, Sweetie, Molly, Flynn, and lots of other special pugs.”
