Josephine Bonaparte (wife of the Emperor Napoleon) had a prized Pug named Fortune. It is said that Fortune bit the leg of Napoleon when getting into bed on their wedding night in 1796. When Josephine was imprisoned at Les Carme’s, Napoleon sent love notes to her hidden in the collar of Fortune II. Such an appropriate name for this little handsome boy.
Napoleon says “oh, the humiliation!!!” But you are still adorable!
Thanks everyone for the lovely comments! I am Napoleon’s mom and yes he is not really happy about the hat. He loves to dress up, but no hats - luckily I was able to get a picture before he grabbed an antenna and yanked it off his head. He is such a silly, snuggly, little love pug - we just adore him.

Napleon is our cutie grand pug. He comes and visits his brother Joey and Roxie Kisses often. He is such a cute and sweet Pug. So, smart and a delight to know, he will keep you laughing at his antics.
