Introduction

Hello pug lovers and welcome to the first issue of Pug Tails!

It has been three months since the initial launch of OwnedByPugs and we are excited to say that the site is growing more and more each day. We have made some changes since OwnedbyPugs first came online and we continue to look for ways to grow and build the site.

Most of our success is due to George Cockrell and Dr. Karen Hoffmann who have contributed wonderful articles to the site. You can expect more great articles from them in the future.

Thanks for subscribing!

What's new at OwnedbyPugs

Since launching OwnedByPugs, we have been thinking up ways to make the site even better. We came up with a few ideas and we have been adding them to the site over the last few weeks. If you haven't been to the site in a while here's what we have been working on.

Pug Rescue Directory

At OwnedbyPugs we believe every pug should have their day. That is why we added a rescue directory to the site. The directory lists Pug Rescue organizations located in the United States. If you know of a directory that is not in our list, let us know so we can add it to the site.

Pug Mugs Photo Contest

The Pug Mugs Photo Contest has been around since we launched the site, but we have made a few changes to it to make viewing all the pictures a bit more fun. Here is a bit more information on how the new gallery works.

The Pug Mug gallery will now display all photos that are submitted by OwnedByPugs' visitors. Each picture will be displayed in the gallery after it has been approved (necessary check to ensure appropriate pictures are being posted). Once a picture is displayed in the gallery, users can rate the picture and post comments on the pictures. These ratings and comments will help us select the next Pug Mug winner. The Pug Mug winner will be featured on the OwnedByPugs homepage as well as this newsletter.

So, what are you waiting for? Submit your pug's mug today!

Is your pug housetrained?

In our latest poll, we are asking visitors how well their puggies do around the house. Let us know by voting in our latest poll.

What's coming up

Here are some things we have planned for the site.

Event Calendar

What's as fun as being a pug owner? Meeting other pug owners! At OwnedByPugs we think there is nothing better than meeting other owners that love pugs as much as you do. That is what has inspired us to add a Pug calendar of events to the site.

Look for the event calendar on the site soon!
