I know Halloween is over and it is pretty much full steam ahead to Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I wanted to share some of the outtakes from our Halloween photos. I snapped over 400 pictures to get the few gems that I posted last week.
Most of Ben's funny pics involved him wearing his hat on his chin. He seemed much happier with it there. Although, he did try to wear it on the side of his head for a bit too.

This veggie special in the dog bowls this week was mixed vegetables. It did not go over well with Benny.
At each meal he flung his veggies out of his bowl so that he could get to the good stuff.
But, we didn't let him leave the table without eating his vegetables. We made sure he cleaned his bowl and his placemat before we let him go off and play.

As we were trying to get the pugs lined up to take a picture in front of the lake, Luna was no where to be found.
While Luna is a very good girl, don't let her fool you. She can be quite stubborn. Luna is at her best when her agenda corresponds with my agenda. If she is on a different page and has something else on her mind, her listening skills can be a little poor.
The picture proves my point exactly. While I was trying to get the pugs to pose for a picture, Luna was off looking for some bird poop by the edge of the lake. The girl has a weird thing about bird poop.
The boys, on the other hand, were more than happy to sit and wait while I went and rounded up Luna.

So which is weirder, dog beds in the car or dog beds in the bathroom?

A year ago, Benjamin was relaxing in a chair in the Smokey Mountains, enjoying the crisp mountain air and playing in piles of leaves like he did when he was a puppy.
This year, he traded his seat in the mountains for a lounge chair by the pool.
Both very different, but both are still great seats.

Even though the FL weather doesn't reflect it, pumpkin bread season is upon us. And the pugs have had their fair share of pumpkin bread.
When we give the pugs pumpkin bread, I usually take a small piece and break it up into bites and give the pugs a little piece here and there as I eat a slice myself. Benny has started a new thing this year. Drooling. Yep, drooling. None of the pugs are droolers, but in between bites, Benny just sits and drools. By the time we are finished eating he even has a wet spot on the floor!
The boy sure does love his pumpkin bread!
