Its moments like this when I can take a huge sigh of relief. We didn’t upset the apple cart by adopting Luna and furthermore, I think the boys like having her around. I know I sure do! Not that I don’t know all that by now. But it is just little things like these that remind me.
Benjamin, Henry and Luna each have very distinct personalities and it is just fantastic how well they all fit together.

Benny loves pumpkin bread, Henry can’t get enough spaghetti and Luna absolutely goes crazy when we bring home Boston Market. We usually get the turkey meal and I think she feels like it is hers because turkey is the main ingredient in her home-made meals. So, she can’t really understand why we brought home turkey and none of it is for her.

Luna just loves to snuggle with her big brother Henry. He is about twice her size and Luna thinks he makes the perfect pillow.

Every weekday morning, I drag myself out of bed way earlier than I would like. Benny, Henry & Luna usually follow me from room to room throughout the day, but in the morning, they don’t budge from the bed. Eventually, it comes time for me to make the bed and I have to do one of the things I hate the most, take the pugs out of the bed. Every morning, we do the same thing, but no one ever budges until I pick them up and carry them to the living room. I carry each one into the living room and pile them up on the sofa or on their favorite chair.
The other morning I stacked the gang up on a pile of pillows. They really liked having their pillow booster seat.

Last week, I joked about Luna getting Botox to take care of the wrinkles on her neck. Well, last night I was flipping through the book “Why do dogs drink out of the toilet?” while watching the American Idol boys and came across a question asking about plastic surgery for dogs or what they refer to as “Bowser Botox.”
It turns out that Botox for pooches isn’t too far fetched. Breeds that often have wrinkly faces, such as Pugs, Bulldogs, Shar-Peis and Pekingnese, often develop a problem where facial folds cause the eyelashes on their lower eyelids to fold into the eye. This can be quite painful and if not treated can even result in vision loss. The most popular way to treat this is currently via a surgical procedure, but it turns out that Botox has been used to also solve the problem. Who knew?
