Dylan

I am so glad to hear that Dylan from Pug NYC is doing much better than he was earlier in the week.  He gave his Mom & Dad quite a scare earlier in the week, but tonight when I checked in I was so relieved to see that Dylan was home and on the road to recovery.  Dylan, we wish you all the best!

New Sleeping Spot

Benjamin & Luna on their new bed

The pugs’ bed in the living room was pretty much on its last leg so when I saw this huge bed last weekend I couldn’t pass it up.  The pugs seem to like it OK and it is good to know that if we ever adopt a mastiff or 5 more pugs there will be plenty of space for them to lay around.  Heck, when the pugs crowd me in bed at night I might just come and sleep on this! grin

Sunday Afternoon

Luna & Benjamin on the Redskins blanket

By Sunday afternoon, G-Ma, G-Pa and Aunt Cayce were all headed home.  It was a wonderful visit and the pugs and Cupid were more spoiled than ever during the week.

I was missing them as soon as they left and being curled up on the couch with the pugs watching some football was just what I needed.  Benjamin and Luna, however, commandeered the Redskins blanket.

Brrrr!

Benjamin & Henry

These last few days it has gotten pretty chilly here in Central Florida (at least to Central Floridians).  Even the pugs have been huddling together for warmth.  Well, that and Henry was in one of Benny’s favorite spots.  Benjamin’s solution to that problem - just lay on Henry and pretend he isn’t there.

Stadium Sleeping

Henry & Luna

We have had the big dog bed in the living room forever, so naturally the original pillow has worn a little thin.  Recently, I put an extra pillow in the case from a different dog bed that the pugs didn’t use too much to fluff things up again.  The pillow I added, however, was not nearly as big as the original pillow, so there is now two tiers of sleeping space on the dog bed just like stadium seating.  The other night Luna was on the lower level and Henry was in the nosebleeds.

Mornings

Henry, Luna & Benjamin

When I need to make the bed in the mornings, I move all the pugs to this little bed in the living room.  They always lay there, half disgruntled, until I pour the Cheerios.  Then they all come running.

Solar Powered

Benjamin, Henry & Luna

It hasn’t been very sunny the last few days and since the rays of the sun seem to be the pugs’ energy source, the pugs have been laying on the sofa for two days straight.  Yesterday morning, however, the sun broke through the clouds and the pugs couldn’t wait to get out in the yard and recharge their batteries.

Have a great weekend everyone!
