It has been with great internal debate in Henry's mind what he wanted his New Year's Resolution to be. He considered many things but begging at the table won out. Not even a week in and the goal goes unmet. No worries, Henry, no one REALLY expected you meet your new year's resolution. #NoOneIsPerfect #GoodTryPug #BeggingIsFun
This is a question asked late in 2015 (and I am sorry that memory is failing so early in the year but I do not remember who it came from #sadface). The question was about if the puggers ever chewed on slippers or shoes. As puppies the boys chewed on a lot of stuff (the underneaths of chairs, futon legs, baskets even each other!) And while they never really chewed actual shoes or slippers, they would tear up the laces of shoes if we kept unworn shoes in their reach. Even while walking, though, they would try to snag a shoe lace. Talk about a tough task! Try to walk a straight line while you have 2 pug puppies literally under your feet trying to eat your shoelaces! We are not even getting into not stepping on them or falling over them! Oh! The reminder of puppydom.
Any shoe/slipper chewing pugs out there? And we are back live (not really live--LOL) with your ASK questions now. Did you think of anything to ask over the last few weeks?
Welcome to 2016! Henry met a new friend on a recent walk. This guy is about his same speed (that would be a speed of zero). But Henry was happy to ring in the new year with ol' Kermit here! LOL. There wasn't any champagne or fireworks, just a nice mosey and few hugs.
Happy New Year! May 2016 bring you all the very best! We were happy to put 2014 behind us, move through 2015 and we are feeling very hopeful for 2016 to be a wonderful year!
After the pseudo fail at Leeper, we tried to rebound with a nice Sunday drive. A drive where Henry is at his happiest with his head hanging out the the window. Our previous camera mount was not the ideal location. We tried a different spot for the outside mount and got a decent angle for Henry footage. Enjoy the show!
Reminder, no pugs were hurt while filming this video.
Since it had been a while since we've tried Doris Leeper Park we wanted to give it another try. We know how great this park is, when Henry and Doris are both on! Well, both Henry and Doris were off. Henry did not want to walk and Doris was as buggy as could be. We were hoping to try the Go Pro on this trip, too. We have had the camera for a good while now but have not really played with as much as we would have like to by now. But we took this chance to see how Henry did. You can see in the photo how the camera is mounted to the special harness Henry wore.
The video shows a bit of Henry's walk. We hope watching it does not make you sea sick. Henry does not exactly walk in a smooth motion but it a good visual from his perspective. This was our first try and a good first effort. We hope to iron out the kinks, learn from this first try and move on from there. We also tried a different angle for the car mount. So, video of part of his ride home will be posted later in the week. So, even though Henry's lack of energy for walking and the mosquito overkill at Doris were not the highlights, at least we got our feet a little more wet with the super cool camera. Hope you enjoyed the video.
