Last week, Patty25 suggested, and a few others seconded, that we show some puppy pictures of Benjamin and Henry. You never have to ask me twice to break out the puppy pictures. Here are few of the boys.
Benjamin and Henry are about 4 months old in this picture. This wicker basket was their very first toy bin and one day I caught them both napping in it. A few weeks after this picture, we had to throw out the toy bin because the boys chewed it to pieces. Silly us for buying two puppies a wicker toy basket.
The boys may live in sunny FL now, but they once lived in MD and got to experience their fair share of snow. They are about a year old in this shot and are figuring out how to get around in about a foot of snow.
The boys were very active chewers when they were younger. They still chew now, but not nearly as often as they did when they were pups.
This is a shot of Henry at doggie daycare. We used to take them one day a week to help them get out some of that puppy energy. It worked too. They would be exhausted when we picked them up.
This picture was taken a few weeks after Henry had surgery to fix a luxating patella. He held his leg up for weeks after the surgery so we were very happy to see him running around the tree in G-Ma's backyard.

I know two little puggies that will be celebrating their 11th birthdays soon. 11 years ago it was pretty hard to get a picture of these two sitting still. My how times have changed.
Have a great weekend!

It seems like Benny and the chicken yard ornament are becoming fast friends. Benny just loves to pose with the chicken in the background.

As soon as I walk over to take a picture, Henry falls over and starts rolling around in the grass. I think the sun goes to Henry's head and makes it impossible for him to sit up. It seems like whenever he walks into a sun beam he falls over and must point his belly to the sky.

Happy Gotcha Day, Luna! 7 years ago we adopted Luna from Compassionate Pug Rescue. Luna was two when we adopted her so today we are celebrating her 9th birthday.
It is hard for me to imagine a life without this feisty little pug in it. I know I often talk about Luna's alpha female personality, but in addition she is the most loyal dog I have ever met. She loves her people and all she wants to do is spend time with them. I have learned so much from this resilient and loving pug over the years.

The other day, we were outside enjoying a very sunny, but gorgeous afternoon. At first the pugs were milling about, but then began to settle. Luna picked a spot directly behind a small robellini palm because it was the only thing that was casting a shadow. The girl is like a shade seeking missile. If there is shade to be had she will find it.
