ROY G BIV
Have a great weekend!

When we are not at home, we crate the pugs. They know the sound of the garage door so when we come home they are always awake and ready to give us a big greeting.
Henry likes to pretend that he never sleeps while we are away (even though we know that is not true). So, I love when we come home and sneak up on the pugs and find them fast asleep in their crate snoring away.

We wanted to plant a tree in the yard to hopefully create some shade. Grammy, let us transplant a little crepe myrtle tree from her yard. It might be a little while before the tree gives us some shade to lounge in, but we really enjoy watching things grow over time.
The pugs were very happy to have the new tree. They know the importance of giving a newly planted tree lots of water, so they made sure to get to work right away.

Looks like Luna won the coin toss and has opted to take the partly shady side of the bed. A huge victory considering both Luna and Benny are both shade seekers.

Benny wants to know if this is a better photobomb? He made note to get his face rather than his tush in the frame this time and made sure to smile "purty" for the camera. Better?

As most of you may know, Grammy pug sits 4 days a week. She spends quality time with the pugs often. While she is here she also tends to some of the tasks that go unanswered by us on a regular but necessary basis, such as watering the plants, wiping down the area near the trash can and she even leaves behind a special gift here & there.
We have a guest room where the decor is a jungle theme. The comforter is a black & beige zebra stripe. The pillow shams are like a leopard print. There are jungle pictures on the wall. There is also an off-white leather chair in the room. Well, until recently, this chair had been pillowless. Since we keep the door to this room closed and do not regularly visit this room, this weekend when I had a reason to go in there, I discovered a zebra stripped pillow decorating the previously empty chair. So, I am not entirely sure when Grammy left this pillow behind, but it did not take Benny longer than a minute to own the pillow as his own. After that, the other 2 pugs came to join him.
So, we wanted to be sure to thank Grammy for being a wonderful pillow leprechaun leaving behind a great goodie loved by the pugs and of course matching the decor of the room. Grammy would not have it any other way.
