All About the Pillows

Benjamin and Henry

It has come to my attention that simply laying on the sofa is no longer comfortable enough for the boys. Instead they prefer that at least two pillows be stacked on top of the sofa cushions. I'm thinking we have reaches a new level of spoiled around here.

Also, don't forget to enter your pug's picture in the 2011 Calendar Contest.

Oh yes, I agree, the boys have reached a new level of spoiledness smile  Good job Benny and Henry!  You both look absolutely comfortable and content.  I love this picture!

Miss Peanut is feeling much better this morning.  She has her normal energy back and she ate her breakfast (still canned foood) with her usual gusto! smile  We should have results back on Monday, fingers crossed.

oh my !!  too cute.  My guy will burrow in a pile of blankets but I haven’t seen him pile up the pillows.

Andi - Glad to hear Miss Peanut is doing well.  OBP fans do not like to hear of any fur-baby not well!!
Pug hugs and prayers!

That’s funny because Romeo was always snuggled in “my” spot or next to me if I’m sitting.  At night he starts out curled up against me, but he gravitates on top of the pillows, preferably two.

Glad Miss Peanut if feeling better.  When they feel bad, we feel bad.  Still praying for good news.

This gives the “Princess and the Pea” story a whole new meaning.  Now it is the “Princes and the couch”.  Can’t allow the babies to actually feel the couch!!!

Cozy, cozy bros!  We call that “the throne” in my house, Bax’s preference.  Henry reminds me of Cole in this pic because, although Cole doesn’t require a throne, he does like a pillow under his precious lil’ head!  Oh to be one of the OBP Extended Family puggas!

Sue, I am thinking of you and Jasper today and praying tomorrow goes smoothly.  Please give him a good luck smooch from me!

Andi, thrilled to hear of Miss Peanut’s progress!  Fingers and paws crossed re: the results!  Kisses to her!!

Oh, yes, it’s all about the pillows.  If Rocky, Adrian, and Gulliver are not sleeping on them, they’re licking them!  What’s that about????

Hope all are well or feeling better! Since we are now up to 3 pugs and one boston, the seating arrangement has also changed: Beauty on the left, Proto on the left, Sol on the right, Daisey on the right and me in the middle. The kids went to the vet and all are a-ok! Beauty has an ear infection and is on meds and improving already! Pups are training and doing very well. Well, that’s the latest from Colorado. Opps-Shhh Benny & Henry sleeping.Pug hugs to all! The Colorado 5

Love the snoozing photo!

I’ve had great luck with C.J. and Toeby lately…No trips to the vet except for the nail clipping thing! (Knock wood)  My heart and thoughts go out to Miss Peanut and any others that are having “vet issues” at this time.  Seems we’ve had a run of bad luck lately, huh?

Patty B…oh the incessant licking!!!  My beloved Riley was a licker and now I have Cole taking over that responsibility (another one of the many reasons I know Ri sent Cole to me!)...He licks me (the good part), Baxter (the other adorable part), the couch, the ottoman, the carpet, the duvet, his bed, the hardwood floor…ummmm, YUCK!  I don’t know what it is…and when I say “incessant” I mean the boy just *will not* stop.  Drives me insane…until he comes to his senses and brings the licks back to momma!

The boys love to be extra comfy!! All pugs do. Love the picture. And of course what our pugs want most of the time they get it!!!
I really enjoy all of you sharing your pugs with us. I get great enjoyment from them.
Really happy to know Miss Peanut is doing better.

GiGi haves pillows all over our room (it is really large). She also does not like regular dog beds but a really large sofe comforter folded so there are 4-layers of comfort!!! No dummie this Gal.

I learned something new today.  Romeo is the only Pug I’ve had with the constant licking.  I thought it was because he was locked alone in a crate for 16+ hours a day before I got him, and he did it out of boredom until it became a habit.  I have to clean the spots off my sofa and pillows where he has left stains.
`
Hellen, my dogs don’t like dog beds either, but fold up a nice big comforter and they love it, unless they are all over me.

Oh Sue VDB…my heart just broke hearing of Romeo’s past…What a blessing he is now in your loving care…God bless you.

Sue, My GiGi came from a great pug rescue and has been with me for almost 2-years.

God has a special place in heaven for those of you save and take care of Pugs.

Heather, I know what you mean.  No matter how much I say, “NO LICK!” Adrian just ignores me and lick, lick, licks every animate and inanimate object close to her.  Do you think it’s something missing from their diets?  Like, not enough spaghetti, pizza, or Pugkin Bread? I’m losing my mind, not to mention my outer layer of skin!!!

I must confess, C.J. is a licker too!  Even when I put him on the top step in the pool, he’s licking and lapping up the pool water.  I physically have to grab his head to keep his chin up so he can’t lick and lap!  Drives me nuts!  He licks everything!  And then he licks it again!  When his food dish is empty, he licks it from the kitchen all the way into the living room…Maddening!

oh yes, I too am a member of the “Pug Licks Club”
Mr. Skittles licks just about everything, but not humans.  He will lick clothing, sofas, blankets etc, but not people.
It annoys my husband, but I will sit in our fav chair, with a fleecy blanket over me and he will snuggle on my lap and lick the blanket.  As least I can put that in the wash… not so with the sofa!!lol

Hi I am so happy I found your web site, I really found you by mistake, while I was looking on Google for something else, Nonetheless I am here now and would just like to say thanks for a tremendous post and a all round thrilling blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to browse it all at the moment but I have book-marked it and also included your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read much more, Please do keep up the excellent job.
