As I’m looking at the picture and reading the comments, I have Tom Jones playing in my head, “she’s a lady, oh oh oh, she’s a lady”!

Luna is always comfortable in her own skin!!  She doesn’t need to mess around with ladylike poses!

We have suddenly & very unexpectedly lost our Lola to Pug encephelitis-PDE. She was only 7! She was the one who found my cancer…we are shocked and heartbroken. My other 2 don’t know what to do without her—literally don’t know when to go to the bathroom. She was our ‘calm asstertive’ pack leader. She told me what to do with her huffs & snorts all day long. We are lost. How have you dealt with the loss of your heart pug?

Thanks Sue VDB, I’m trying to keep a smile…

but it is gone now reading Kelly’s post.  Kelly, there are no words…I am so incredibly sorry to hear this.  I still haven’t recovererd from losing my Riley and don’t believe I ever will…I have no words of advice, but I will be thinking of you all.  I’m truly sorry for the loss of Lola.

Kelly,

I am so sorry for your loss. I have lost 4 pugs in the past and know how you are feeling. The sorrow is so deep that it actually hurts. I have tears in my eyes for you as I write this. You will have to grieve and it will take time.  Thoughts and prayers go out to you.  Go to the Rainbow Bridge web site and tell them
about Lola.  They hold services for lost furry babies which are consoling.

Kelly, my deepest sympathies to you…It is just so hard to lose a beloved animal.  There are no words…You have to keep going and love the others as well because they too will be lost for a while…Since it was sudden, there’s no preparation, just shock!  Hold tight to your loved ones and look to them for comfort…I am so sorry.

Oh Kelly, how hearbreaking, and I am so very sorry, and I understand how very special Lola is.  My very special Bo Peep was suddenly lost to me 8 years ago, and the hurt is indescribable.  There are no words to help you heal.  Just give the rest of your babies extra loving and take one day at a time.  My thoughts and prayers are with you to help you along the way.

Kelly, I am so sorry for the loss of your Lola. Our precious black pug Luke died suddenly on July 18. We have since adopted another black pug named Sir Luke, but I still cry for Luke almost everyday. Time will eventually help you but it is not easy. I hope that you know you have many people keeping you in their prayers and thoughts and that will give you comfort in the coming days. Kelly, Sorry to hear of Lola’s passing! It is a very hard thing to loose our precious fur-babies. I had to go to the doctor I was grieving so hard and it was his comforting words that helped so much:“Loosing a beloved pet is just as hard as loosing a human loved one, just take it one day at a time”. You and your family are in my prayers! Peace,Blessings and pug hugs from Pastor Sue & the Colorado 4

Kelly, I too am so sorry for your loss.  Nothing can prepare you for that pain and that ache.  Be sure to take care of yourself as you grieve and also take care of the pugs left behind.  Give them lots of extra hugs, kisses, cuddles and talk to them about Lola.  Let them know that she will not be forgotten.

Princess Looney . . . you are gorgeous as ever!!!

Kelly, my heart and eyes are weeping for you. It is never easy to lose a treasured baby, and my prayers are with you as you adjust to this hole in your household, heart, and life. I am SO sorry. :(

Oh Kelly - how sad we are all for your loss and pain.  It’s not easy, but no one ever said it was.  In our own way we grieve with you and so many of us have lost that special one that we really do know what you are going through, although in your case it happening without warning makes the world a little less safe than we at one time thought.  Bless you and your other two.
