Beach Day

Luna

Saturday was gorgeous pug weather and we decided to spend the day at the beach. A lot of other people thought Saturday was a great beach day too because the beach was very crowded. There were people, dogs & kids everywhere.

We walked along the beach for a while before we found a spot to setup camp. We setup the blankets and within a few minutes the pugs had sand all over the blankets. Just they way they like them! But, you can't expect to go to the beach and not get sandy. Especially, when you have 3 pugs in tow.

Benjamin

A lot of dogs stopped to say hello as they passed our camp on the beach. To my surprise, I even managed to catch a dog playing fetch in the background of Benny's picture.

Henry

Henry was in need of a pair of shades because he was squinting in every picture I snapped of him.

The pugs did a lot of running around before they were finally ready to settle and take in the sights from their blankets. We were even lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the DirectTV blimp passing in front of the lighthouse.

This is just delightful and convinces me 100% that we are outta here and on to sunnier pastures!  [typed as I watch the snow fall outside my window]...The pictures are gorgeous and everyone looks so happy!!

Sounds like a great day! And Henry looks fabulous in purple! I’m definitely ready for spring. And, like Heather, I’m watching snowflakes fly outside my back door. Boo!

Have a great day everyone!

Pug Hugs to all from Gina & Pip.

And here WE are in snowy Colorado-taking in the flakes! Love the pics of the gang enjoying the beach. We too will be heading for a lower elevation come summer-have to wait for the snow to melt to get out of here! Pug Hugs to all from the Colorado 5

Those pictures are fabulous…not only because of the three fantastic pugs, but the beautiful, warm scenery.

We got light rain last night.  The temp was 70, and plunged to 25 overnight…not fair.

It is snowing here as well… I am thinking I gotta get away from the snow.  Hubby slipped on ice last night, landed on his back, knocked the wind out of him, had chest pains , so we went to ER… got home at about 2:30 this morning… whew, excitement i woudl rather not repeat!!

Loving a glimpse of the sunny weatehr, glad you got our to enjoy!!  xo

We are having beautiful spring weather in cental Texas.
75 right now and the dogs are loving every minute of being outside. I love the beach pictures, must be fun to live somewhere besides the middle of nowhere. Pat, I’m glad your hubby is ok, I fell a couple of weeks ago when it was icy here. Texans don’t know how to drive or act when it is snowing and icy. We really should just all hibernate when it gets below freezing.
I love the purple halter, too. Very becoming.

These are such good pictures of the gang and they seem to understand they most pose.  I just seem to get a blurr when I try because no one will stand in one place for more than two seconds.

Coming upon the anniversary of Solsey’s Rainbow trip, I was thinking (and I may be wrong) that other than sweet Luna’s surgery, we have had a good year so far (January and February) with mishaps and illnesses.  Last year, it seemed so constant that one or another of OBP Land little loves were having problems.

Oh Sue VDB, that rapid a temperature always makes me nervous because of tornadoes popping up so quickly.  I’ll cross my paws for you.

Pat, give our best to your husband and save some for yourself if your husband is as big a baby as most seem to be.  Don’t you just love how you get through an emergency room in such a timely manner.

Thanks Brenda & Huckle..  I remember reading about your your fall Brenda, and well, we just don’t bounce like we used to!!
We have awful ER waiting times… do any of you??
plus I do not have a regular family doctor.. we have had several doctors leave for bigger cities in the last year, leaviung thousands of people here without a doctor.  Hubby got a doctor last fall, and hopefully she will take me on soon.

Love Henry in Purple.. color of royalty!!  King Henry..lol

Just now catching up to speed with the blog.  Pat, so sorry your husband had a nasty fall…but good news is nothing is broken.  Healing can sometimes still be slow.

Hospital ERs are a pain.  My local hospital sees you immediately, but after the initial diagnosis and necessary treatment, you wait the required 3 hours before being discharged, if then.

Brenda you didn’t say how you are doing after your fall…hopefully fit as a fiddle.

Pat, Hope your husband heals quickly.  After a nasty cold that put me to bed and caused much coughing, my cracked sternum I suffered in a fall early February, hasn’t had a chance to heal, but it will come.
