Benny is Waking Up

Just talked to the vet and Baby Benny’s teeth cleaning went well and he is coming out of the anesthesia now.  I’m sure he is a whiny mess and is searching around for his puffy.  I’ll be sure to bring it with me when we go to pick him up.

Surprisingly, they said they did not have to pull any teeth!  I’ll get the update when we go to pick him up.  Thanks for all the well wishes.

Thanks for keeping us posted! I worry about any of these little dogs when they have to be put under. Hope Benny feels better really soon—I know having his puffy will help!

Glad to hear he’s doing well! I’m sure he’ll be glad to get back home…as will you! Funny how much they make us worry.

I hope Baby Benny had a good evening recovering from his hard day.  And I hope everyone else did, too, because it was a hard day for the whole family!

Aw poor little benny….
Hey - don’t know if there is anyone around your area but I just had my puggers teeth done by a non-anesthesia vet tech….I tried finding one for my mom back East but couldn’t…THEY ARE AMAZING!!! the website for out here in California is:

No problem - I scoured the internet for anyone that does it in Connecticut - no luck (damn wish I could do it - I would make a fortune!) It was the best experience for both me and the puggers. They swaddle them in a blanket - the tech then gently lays them in their lap (on their back) and picks away - I saw the plaque (eew) and then the sparkling clean teeth! No after effects of the shot or anesthesia and I didn’t have to spend the night before or the day of in a panic attack over them being put under
