Body Pillow

Henry

Benjamin may be the pillow king, but Henry sure knows how to make himself comfy on a pile of pillows as well. Notice how he has carefully placed his bone on the pillow above his head. He's keeping it close, so Benny won't get a chance to chew it and mess it up. Henry has a systematic approach to chewing bones. Benny on the other hand slobers them all up until they are one big choking hazard and need to be thrown away. It drives Henry crazy to see Benny ruin a good bone.

Henry you are just too adorable…Just look at how cozy you are.  I’d like to climb right in there with you!

I have to say how much you all have touched my heart with your outpouring of love and support.  Karen B - yesterday you wrote “we’ll get through this” and well, I cried.  It is so wonderful to feel a part of such a caring community…people that know firsthand the devotion and love we have for our puggies!

I have some good news…I haven’t shared too many of Ri’s “symptoms” b/c quite frankly they are numerous, weird, and hard to laundry list.  But one of the things that has really been bugging me is Ri not sleeping in bed with Bax and I for weeks now.  Riley, in his almost 11 years, has slept in my bed every night.  Well, when this all started weeks ago, he stopped.  Broke my heart.  Well, last night I had TWO very fury bed companions who snore a lot!!!  YAY…momma sees her boy coming back…still “off” but my boy *is* in there!

Thank you all.  Much love and Riley sends lots of licks.  His appointment is at 11 tomorrow.  It’s in Boston so it will be a while before we’re back home, but I will pop on just as soon as we get there.  Thank you again…I can’t say it enough!

Thanks Corrine!!!  When I woke up and turned over to see Riley sprawled out next to me…well, it was quite a pleasant wee hour of the morning surprise!!!  grin

Oh Heather, that made me cry.  Riley is on his way back and hopefully Thursday will give you the answers you need to get Riley back 100%. Prayers and hugs to you and Riley

Henry, can’t say I blame you for not wanting your bone full of slobber.  You look so relaxed and adorable, but I can tell you are on alert to protect your bone.

Heather, a lot of “regular” people just don’t understand what our pugs mean to us.  But here, we’re all pug-people, so we understand completely what Riley means to you!!  And I’m glad all the support has been helpful to you!  Now, we just want to see continued improvement from Riley : )

And about Henry, that boy is always thinking, isn’t he?  He sure knows how to arrange things to his liking!

Puggy prayers are with you and Riley, Heather.  I know exactly what you mean about “regular” people.  No one knows the bond we share with our babies until they experience it.  It is great to have a place to share that with others who get it and share their stories, pictures and support.  Being owned by a pug is a blessing!

Heather, I truly mean that!  “We” are all a team and a family and even though we don’t know each other face to face, we can still be here to love and support one another!  I will continue to pray for Riley and please take care.  So glad to hear the little guy came back the family bed!  That’s very encouraging!  We will be waiting to hear!

Doing Now - 72 nails?  Romeo and the others absolutely refuse to let me trim their nails, probably cause I don’t see them well enough, so I have to pay someone to cut them.

The midwest pug, Romeo, and the others have no desire to go out in weather expecting to reach a high of 10 F, a low of -6 F tonight…brrrrrrrrrr. I’m thankful we don’t live north.  This is bad enough.
