Comfy

Luna

I know we adopted Luna a long time ago, 5 years ago to be exact, but even after all those years, I still reflect on how far the little girl has come.

One of the most heartbreaking things for me when we first adopted her is that she would never get comfortable and rest. The first night in her new home, she literally tried to sleep standing up. Of course, over time, she started to trust us and her surroundings more and she became more relaxed. But, I like to contrast the little pug on day one that would try to sleep standing up to the pug today that is all about making herself comfortable. Luna is a lap dog and when she sits on your lap, she almost shapes you into the form that is most comfortable to her. Not to mention that she is the biggest bed hog around.

She has come a long way and many times when I see her passed out in one of her cozy beds or her little 16 pound body taking up practically the whole sofa, I can't help but think back to that first night and smile at how much Luna has changed over the years.

I can’t even think about Luna pre-OBP home without getting physically ill.  What a blessing the past five years has been for her and what a strong little soul for overcoming her past and flourishing in her safe and secure Forever Home.  Love you so much Looney, I’m so happy you are where you belong.

I love this picture and this story of Looney! What a sweet heart. I’m so glad you share your life with us Corrine. Looney looks like she was just so tired she flopped down and said ‘oomph’ as she landed.

Pug Hugs to all from Gina & Pip!

Love conquers all!!!  I don’t even want to think about what this sweet little pug endured before you found her, but it is very heartwarming to see how she has thrived.

Content and is that a dab of leftover dinner on her chin?  Talk about content!  Full tummy and passed out.  Just the way I like it, too.  smile

Forever homes work wonders smile  What a blessing you have been into Luna’s life, Corrine!

My Abby girl, she’s at it again.  Went to the vet on monday cuz of a stinky mouth, went back yesterday so they could put her under to check out her mouth more in depth, and sure enough, one of her big premolars was all infected/abscessed, so she had it taken out on the spot.  Oh dear, poor widdle Abby, it is always something it seems.  She has bounced right back though, and I think she rather likes the doctor’s recommendation of soft food for the next 2 weeks, I just hope I can convince her to eat her kibble again when we get the all clear!!!-LOL!!!

What an adorable picture of Luna. Every Pug deserves love and a wonderful home.  I had a scare earlier this week when my Toby got sick. Of course I took him right to the Vet. It turned out ok.After lots of lab work, just an upset stomach but he means so much to me I was a wreck.  Our little puggies are our lives.

Luna’s had two lives:  before and after her Gotcha Day!  How lucky for Luna AND you that she became your special Looney!!!  I love her, and I love this picture of her!

Luna is the so precious and this pose is a great one.  The ultimate relaxed Pug.

Heather - “strong little soul” is a terrific way to think of her, because she is.

Pug Mama -  I am so happy that Abby’s problem was taken care of so quickly. Returning to kibble will probably be quite a struggle.  Good Luck!

Marcia - We Pug lovers know exactly what you mean.  I’m glad Toby is fine and now fit as a fiddle.
