please send some good thoughts today, we just had to let go of our “second born” the only pug we had from a baby even though he was a rescue like the rest. His body was just shutting down no matter how much our vet and we tried. His name was Shadow and he did follow me around like my shadow he will be joining my first pug Romeo that passed just 6 months ago. They were such buddies and I know they will be taking care of each other. Thanks for the smiles each day when I click on your blog. Kim

Hi Kim,

I am so sorry to hear about Shadow & Romeo.  These little ones become such a part of our lives.  Please know you are in my thoughts.

Kim, I am so very sorry about both Romeo and Shadow.  Like Corrine said, they become so much a part of our lives, and they really are our children.  I’m sure you have many good memories of both of them.  It must be very difficult to lose both of them in a six month time period.  I hope the good memories sustain you.

Hello Kim,
My heart goes out to you.  To have lost 2 ‘children’ in such a short time is heartbreaking.  Try to stay strong and remember all the love they brought into your lives.  May you find comfort in the memories you cherish.

How sad to lose your babies-at any time-but so close together.

Kim,
I am so very sorry for your loss.  Shadow and Romeo are looking down on you, keeping you safe.  I hope that your days will get easier.  Know that you took the best possible care of Shadow and that he knew how much you loved him.

Kim,

I’m sorry to hear about your loss.  It is never easy to lose them.  I’m still not over losing my first Pug a year and 4 months ago.  Keep the memories alive; they’ll always be in your heart and they’ll be looking down on you each day.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I just know that there’s a grand “pug haven” somewhere up there in heaven that your little guys have joined. Pugs are wonderful creatures and give us so many great memories…hang on to those and you will always have a way to catch a bit of happiness.
