Dolly

Henry

We bought these stuffed, little dolls for Luna and wouldn't you know the boys have pretty much taken them over. I never see Luna playing with one of these toys. The boys, especially Henry, have shown the most interest in them.

It's funny, when I see something in the store, I think, "Oh, Henry would love that" or "Wouldn't Luna like that". And wouldn't you know it when I bring it home the pugs have different ideas.

I’m just beaming in smiles with this post (when am I not when at OBP land??).  I loved reliving the older posts and just love the Hank pic with him showing Dolly who’s boss…and Ben sleeping with her *gush*.  Hey, in this day and age we’re not supposed to “pigeon hole” our children into traditional gender rolls.  Maybe you’ve got some trendsetting boys on your hands…hehehehe.  Love all 3 of you so much!

Gina, how’s the Pipster???  I hope he had a good night.  I’ve been thinking of you both and prayers still going up.

Such a cute photo. My Bugsy is the toy hound. Every new toy is his. Wheezy sneaks one now and then to get his goat.

Do you ever think that pugs play mind games with us?  Who cares what type of toys our babies play with…as long as they are happy.

This is such an adorable picture of Henry.

Gina, prayers and hugs to you and Pip.

I never know what Hooie and Tina will like, even after all these years.  I think a lot of it is the Pug in question just wanting the new things, regardless of what it is.  So cute with the dolly in his mouth!!!!

Yep!  This picture of Henry is adorable!  I love the way he’s holding Dolly with his ears back, too!

It makes me warm inside to think of Henry breathing all squished up with Dolly in his muzzle like that.  Bax has a toy that he ONLY plays with at bedtime.  Any other time of day or night, he’s a no toy pug since he’s gotten older.  He gets this thing so deep into his mouth, and it’s big and puffy (and soft), and he carries it around…sometimes for 5 minute stretches at a time…on the bed, off the bed, around the bed…and the sound he makes breathing when he does it is part of my lullabye…

Love ya Hank! *snort snort*

This just melts my heart. And the older post too. They are showing their maternal side. I would love to hear what Henry sounds like while holding this!

Pip is getting better!! He had a great night and great morning. I had to take him back in and they called and I get to go get him at 1:15 today!!! They will then teach me how to give him his insulin shots! eek.

It seems they have things controlled right now. He isn’t on an IV anymore and they gave him a shot of antibiotics that last 10 days so I don’t have to worry about that. They said he was perky and looking around! I take him in on Sat morn to check his levels and then in 3 weeks to check his pancreatitis. The prayers are working everyone. Thank you!!!!!

great big Pug Hugs to you all from Gina & Pip

Lilo n Me (Gwen)

Absolutely love this picture! It reminds me of Lilo.  I love how when pugs pick up a toy like this you can barely even see their little faces.

Lilo likes to occasionally bring toys to bed. Last night though the original Lambchop suffered a mortal wound as Lilo began pulling the stuffing out of her face.  I wish they would just stuff these with scrap fabric instead of that fuzzy stuffing that gets everywhere.  The funniest thing i have ever heard or seen is when Lilo decides to bring a Marro-bone cookie to bed.  She can barely get her mouth closed around it, so you can just see the end of it peeking out, and the sound is like the usual pug rrrrr but louder and slightly muffled.  Cracks me up every time!

Gina, So glad your little man is home and you are comfortable with the shots. You’re one great pug mama!

I call you Lilo even though I know you are Gwen, Gwen. My apologies! smile  But thank you for saying that. It means the world to me! here is a horrible Mom secret…sometimes I’m nicer to Pip than I am to my kids! eeeekkkkk!!!!! ssshhhh don’t tell anyone. smile  I mean, my kids aren’t in kennels in the basement or anything but I make sure they are super nice to Pip and treat him only with respect. I think it’s important to teach kids that so they have that with them as they grow. smile

Love to all my obp’ers!!!!
