Dream a Little Dream

Dreaming pugs

Does your pug dream?  Benjamin, Henry & Luna dream a lot!  I have been trying to get a video of at least one of them dreaming, but whenever I get close with the camera they start to stir.  I am also ever so curious as to what they are dreaming about.  Sometimes based on Benny’s muffled barks I imagine that Benny is dreaming about chasing Henry around the yard.  And the curious way that Henry sometimes flaps his feet in his dreams, I bet he is thinking about swimming.  And when Luna barks short, quick muffled barks in her sleep I know she is fussing at the boys trying to get those lazy boys to play with her.

Oh, to know what they are really dreaming about!

I know what I’m dreaming about…..joining your pugs and dozing in the sun right beside them!

But, back to them and their dreaming, I’m convinced that pug dreams are full of their sweet thoughts about their regular daily activities.  So you’re probably right and they’re dreaming of running and swimming and playing and fussing!

Ooooo, I just wanna curl right up in that pug pile in the sun!!  Baxter and Riley dream too…not a lot, but at least once a month or so…I love it and it always makes me smile…I, too, am so curious as to what goes on in those little minds!!

Sweet Dreams to all of the Precious Puggies!

I’m with Martha… would love to join them, taking in the sun (today it is not warm… maybe 6 degrees celcius)!
I think Mr. Skittles dreams if he’s had an exiting, busy day.  His body, legs do twitching movements.
I love to hold him while he sleeps.
Sweet dreams to all puggies out there!

Sleighbelle dreams too.  I think she dreams of finally getting the better of the big dog that lives behind us.  Also, I think she wins in her dreams when she is playing with her Lab cousins.  Cause she never wins in real life!  And on a selfish note, I think she dreams about how much she loves her mommy, that is what she’s dreaming when she snuggles even closer to me!

Toeby doesn’t dream that I’ve ever seen, but C.J. is another story!  He woofs and kicks his legs and basically just carries on.  It’s hilarious to watch and even gets my hubby laughing!

What a cute pic…I’m dreaming of joining them too!  39 degrees here, no sun, no lounging outside for us or our puggies….

The only ones who seem to “dream” at our house are Rosie and Zoey..both whimper and move their legs…busy girls!

When my Lucy dreams, she makes more of a grunting sound and her legs push off as if she is trying to jump. Sometimes it’s hard for me to notice the dreaming underneath all that snoring she does. Aren’t pugs perfect.

Macy Mae dreams all the time. We usually say she is chasing bunnies. She’s got the little barks going and moves her legs a lot. So funny!

I don’t remember seeing Brandy do any twitching or moving in her sleep, but sometimes she will jump up from a sound sleep barking with the hair sticking up on her back. Maybe she is dreaming about the neighbor’s cat grin

I am jealous of H, B, and L.  I wish I were there lounging with them instead of working.

Aww! I wish I coudl join them too, it’s sunny here but not very warm!
Indy dreams but when she does, she makes this high pitch crying noise. Usually she calms down if I pet her… Gus dreams too, sometimes he kicks his feet and other times he shakes. I’m not sure how happy his dreams are but I like to think he forgot about his previous life. smile

What a lovely photo. Wish I was lounging somewhere in the sun, too!

And yes! My pugs dream a lot. Especially late in the night when they’re in the REM cycle…I can hear them making little noises and their feet twitch. Very cute.

Oh my guys dream all the time…they twitch and whimper and bark and my old guy sounds like an old fashioned coffee pot percolating!
I’ve heard you shouldn’t wake them - anyone else hear that?
I can bet mine are dreaming of food! LOL!

Romeo seldom dreams anymore.  He used to dream a lot, but they didn’t sound like happy dreams, whimpering and sometimes almost a whine, so I would gently pet him, talk to him and wake him up. He came from an unhappy situation.  If he does dream now, they sound happy dreams, like he is playing.

Our Lucy does a little whimpering and twitching but the cutest thing is, she wags her tail! I’m hoping that means she’s having wonderful dreams!

Dee,
LOL   I used to have one of those old fashioned coffee pots, I can imagine what it must be like in your house with that noise.
Those pots made the best coffee though.

Oh no! I’m getting so drowzy just looking at this picture!! Oh how wonderful it would be to take a nap in the sun right about now =)
My hyper lil girl, Ginger, runs when she’s awake and her twitching paws while she’s asleep is a pretty good indication that she’s running in her dreams, too!
