Esophagus Sticks

Luna

The pugs were super excited when they received a package from Doggy Loot in the mail the other day.

We generally order bully sticks for the pugs whenever we see a good deal on Doggy Loot, but this time we thought we would get the pugs something new - Beef Esophagus Sticks. They sounded disgusting to me, so I was pretty sure that the pugs would LOVE them.

Luna

Benjamin loved his treat!

Luna

Henry might have enjoyed the esophagus sticks even more than Benny.

Luna

And Luna was on the fence. She didn't know what to think of them. In fact, she let her bone sit unattended and it wasn't long before Benny came by and ate hers too.

I love Benny….he’s too funny!!  Eh, my sister’s taking her sweet time eating her awesome new treat so…..guess what?  I’m going to help her out and eat it for her!!!!  Lol!

Luna, the old “it’s now or never” comes into play here.

I need to teach my husband not to bark.  I’m not doing too well with the pugs, either!

My Wheezy eats anything, Charlie has to snife first and Bugs waits to see if the other two eat the treat then he’ll eat one.

Those are cute pictures! Lucy will, literally, eat ANYTHING. Vegetables, bugs, leaves, pine straw, rocks, poop (:P !) you name it, she’s eaten it. Pen is more discriminating, like Miss Luna. I wish I could get a video of him when we try to feed him blueberries. He’ll politely take it from your fingers, roll it around on his tongue for half a second, then spit it out-doesn’t just drop it, he spits it. Hilarious!

I love pugs. Luna heard they were esophaguses (not spelled correctly I know) smile and she decided ew too.

No thank you she said. Dainty princesses do not eat cow throats. smile (Bella begs to differ.) smile

This cracks me up (and grosses me out).

Funny because the boys and I are on a little getaway. I bought them these cool ring things at the market. Cole had his ring pretty much gone after the first chew and Baxter’s was still a complete circle. Day two and I’m not sure if I passed out or did some other form of time travel, but I gave Cole the rest of his circle which was more like a five inch piece and gave Bax his complete circle back for more chewing…faster than should be possible, Baxter’s circle was gone…and with no help from Cole cause he wax on the couch with me. I think Baxter went into full throttle speed chew mode! I’m still perplexed!

Little Miss Luna’s evidently thinking that surely you can do better!

Maybe male dogs are like male humans.  The guys in our family all like Slim Jims and jerky.  Me…not so much.  I’m equating the esophagus sticks to a Slim Jim!
