Hangover for the 4th

Luna

So...like I said yesterday about the 4th of July.....this is what the pugs look like after being up barking all night long. The 5th of July around here is the pits. I feel like they do, too. The only difference is that they get to have a stay home day. Did I say that the 4th of July was the OBP humans' favorite holiday? Whatever was I thinking? It's like this every year. :(

Those are definitely three pooped pugs.  Sorry you have to work today Corrine.

Fortunately my crew doesn’t bark.  They don’t like to go outside to potty while World War III is going on, but they don’t bark, not even my Missy who thinks her whole purpose in life is to bark, bark, bark.

Oh my goodness~Even when they are pooped they are adorable! I love the look on Henry’s face. Awesome!

I’m hoping it stops around here today. Sheesh! Makes me grouchy :(

I hope everyone had a safe and fun fourth!

Yhey look like they were drinking out of the same dish.  Poor pugs.  Silly pugs.  Are they hoarse or can’t they even squeak?  And you think this is your favorite holiday because - what?

Opps - just as I pushed the button to send I noticed my “Yhey” for they.  All I can do is roll my eyes.

Pooped out Puglets but still adorable. The booms and bangs stopped at midnight in my neighborhood. I have yet to figure out what the thrill of all the noise is to the people who set off fireworks, especially with a heatwave going on. Seems dangerous to me. I play the tv a little louder and keep the washing machine going until the noise stops and it seems to work.

Those poor worn out puggies!

I tried my experiment with the bass on the stereo last night, and then it was a non-issue.  I have no idea why but other than a very few firecrackers that were pretty far away, there was nothing going on here.  And Bennie is a barker.  He feels it’s his job to notify me of any noise.

Sleighbelle used to be the same way…until she went deaf.  Now, they could be shooting them in the den and she wouldn’t care!

Poor babies!!! They really look worn out!!
My family went down to daughter Karens house and had a B-B-Q!

THEY DIDNOT DO FIRECRACKERS….NOT MY FAMILY…They used a Potato Gun and shot Potatos out of it!!!!

There are a lot of cities in Oregon that have small firewooks shows.
