Help CFPR Win $20,000
The Animal Rescue Site is hosting a special challenge for eligible Petfinder.com member shelter and rescue groups. The grand prize is a $20,000 grant, and they will be awarding many other grants to rescue groups with the most votes — a total of $100,000 in grants for animal welfare organizations.
Geez! Think how many pugs Central Florida Pug Rescue could help for $20,000!
To help CFPR win the grant, you just have to vote for them each day. The contest runs from now until July 26,2009. Voting is free, but it is a little tricky, so I will do my best to explain. When you click the image below you will be taken to The Animal Rescue Site. Once there, you will need to click on the “Click Here to Give - It’s Free Button. By doing that you, The Animal Rescue Site sponsors will make a donation to provide food for an animal in a shelter. Very nice! Now here is the tricky part. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the banner in the middle that says “The Animal Rescue Site 100,000 Shelter Challenge. Click the image. On the next page that appears, scroll down until you see the “Search and Vote for a Shelter” box. In that box type in “Central Florida Pug Rescue” for the Shelter Name and select FL for the state and click the Search button. Just below the search form, Central Florida Pug Rescue’s listing will then appear. Click the vote button next to their name. Now for my favorite part, to confirm that you are in fact a person you will need to type in the name of the animal that appears on the next page. Once you have done that your vote has been counted!

I already do The Animal Rescue Site. I know that all rescues are worthy and I know too that CFPR is near and dear to your heart; however, living in Kansas I am supporting the Midwest Pug Rescue. Good luck with the campaign.
