The other night we gave the pugs a little ice cream treat to help them beat the heat. I took a little video of them slurping up their treat, but I made a crucial mistake. I started with Luna instead of Benny. As you will see in the video, by the time I get around to Ben, he has already licked his bowl clean. It's a wonder that boy doesn't get an ice cream headache.

Georgie has been sounding like he sat on a Whoopi cushion quite a bit yesterday. I could picture what that gas would look like on an Xray. The vet showed me one day that the large, odd bubbles appearing on the xray was actually gas and that he probably really would need to go potty (Georgie, not the vet). So last night, Georgie turned around in bed, his head pointed toward my feet (kind of like a semi truck backing up to a dock) and his fanny, in his ‘condition’, way too close to my head. I eventually had to turn away from him and lay on my other side. It was overload and I was gasping. The “problem” seems to be gone today.

Bax made out well. Neurologist thinks it’s not seizures, but vertigo due to nasty ear infections that snuck into the middle/inner ear canal. Why our regular vet did not see this a month ago, I’m not sure. So, months ahead of drops and oral meds, but praying that this will be the end of his ‘episodes’ and the brain is AOK with no involvement (which it seems to be at this point, phew!). He’s the bravest boy I know, my love.

Had to watch the video again for a snort fix as the boys are with their daddy today. I’m not quite sure what to do with myself!!
Oh Heather, your news was so good esp when other possibilities float around in your head and some of them scary and awful. Are you and Baxter dancing round the room? I am so happy for the both of you.
I know how are very relieved Heather about the news on Baxter. Prayers do work and the meds will surely help him heal.
Well, after updating my Adobe flash player, I finally saw this cute video. Benny definitely has a fast licker.
