It’s a dangerous job but someone’s got to do it

Luna

I can hear you asking yourself, "What in the world is that a picture of?" Well, that is the last thing an unsuspecting photographer sees just before a crazy pug crashes into the camera giving the aforementioned picture taker a little bit of a fat lip.

On Saturday afternoon, the pugs were running around the living room like mad and I thought it would be a good time to get a few photos of them in action. To get the shots I was laying on the floor snapping away while the pugs zipped around and over me. I had taken a decent amount of shots when Luna grabbed a stuffed monkey toy and started tearing around the living room. Combine her super excited state, with her poor vision and the next thing you know she runs smack dab into the camera at full speed pushing the camera right into my face. Luna barely misses a step as she rolls right off the camera and my face and keeps flying around the living room. I, however, did not see the collision coming and had not braced myself at all, so I was reaching for my face to make sure my nose was still attached.

Needless to say, the picture above was the last one on the memory card for Saturday. This is just one of of the many reasons why this is my new favorite shirt.

Hit and run pug,as i’m familiar with that it’s a dangerous job and should come with compensation pay i’ll never do that one again as i got a black-eye once from doing that.Beware of those four pawed hit and runners.

Oh Corrine, you poor thing…but you know I had to chuckle…especially about Looney continuing on her tirade with her stuffed moneky after the collision!  Too funny.  I, for one, am grateful you “took one for the team”...Team of OBP fans, that is!  Couldn’t live without my daily shots of OBP!!!

Hope you are ok-Pugs should always be approached from the standing position-never on the floor! Even then, it’s chancey as Beauty is quite the jumper-like she has springs in her paws!and managed to hit my face. But she compensated me for her eagerness and injury with pug kisses to make it feel better-did Luna provide the kiss remedy?

Alas, I believe we have all been a victim of the pug hit and run!  Those pugs seldom have a license to perform the pugtona 500, so of course, after a crash, they continue on in order to escape arrest!
Thanks for explaining what that picture is, cause I for one would have never been able to figure it out.
About the shirt, that is hysterical and I think every pug owner should have one!!!!

Corrine, so sorry about your injury, but oh my I can just see the fun the pugs were having, and you have to admit, it is funny.  Wish I could have seen the action in person. Love the tee shirt.

Hope you are ok Corrine!  For a little pug, she can pack a wallop!!

Not long ago, my husband was on the floor playing around with Mr. Skittles, then Mr. Skittles got wound up and did the “puppy tear”, he ran right across the back of my hubby’s head and left a claw mark!
Hubby couldn’t believe it!  We joked about him being “hit n run” victim of “Pugtona”

I guess our lesson is Do not get in their way!!

OMG that shirt made me LOL BIG TIME!  Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

But, this situation above is not funny and I have also gotten battle scars from it too!  Hazard of multiple, innocent Pugs that just want to have fun?

Yes, very interesting photo!  I spotted the t shirt on the animal rescue site and thought it was too cute!  I wish it came in “pug” also!

Corrine, Sleighbelle is right on…you were a victim of a pug hit & run!  Hope it didn’t hurt too much.  But as usual, you got a great picture!  It sounds like it didn’t even phase little Luna smile

I’ll be innocently walking around the house when Olive will come up behind me and bash me in the back of the legs with whatever toy she happens to have in her mouth. I know she’s thinking “come on mom, play with me!” but she’s almost knocked me down several times with that move!
