Luna’s Big Adventure

Luna

On Monday night, shortly after we got back from our walk with the pugs, we realized that we had forgotten to run out and get cat food for Cupid earlier in the night. Having about a half hour before the store closed, we headed out and we decided to bring Luna with us. From time to time we try to do things with the pugs individually. And since most of Luna's one on one car trips usually involve a visit to the eye doctor we thought she would enjoy getting to take a field trip to the pet store.

Since we were there for cat food, we headed to the cat section first. Luna didn't seem to care that she was in the cat food section and all the bags of food smelled yummy to her.

After we stocked up on Cupid's food, we went to the dog section, got a few chewies and let Luna explore a bit. Out of all the bones they had on the lower shelf, Luna showed the most interest in this bone. A style of rawhide bone that I don't think she has ever had before. She took one tiny lick and then she was on to bigger and better things.

She patiently waited as we checked out and right before we left, she posed atop the mound of dog food they have piled by the door.

My girls LOVE these bones.  They come in vanilla, peanut butter, and hickory.  Every time Princess has the hickory I ask her if she’s been to the bbq again!

What a sweet story of precious Luna.  Yeah for Luna.  She seems to have thoroughly enjoyed her personal one-on-one adventure.

It’s so sweet to do “individual” things with our little ones when they are part of a bigger pack!

It has been nice to have one on one time this summer with Daisey-but we can see she,too is ready to have Beauty back to play with-which happens this week-end! I have missed her sweet face-having OBP every day helped-but is no substitute for the real thing! Luna hope you had fun and get to go again soon!

I couldn’t get out the door with just one pug!  Toeby and C.J. have to go everywhere together!  If they are left behind, they usually have a piddle party to show us who’s boss!

That girl always gets the maximum pleasure out of every opportunity!  I aspire to be like Luna!

That first photo makes me think that Luna is thinking: “Dang, Mom got us a broken cart, there is no steering wheel on this one.  And it was MY turn to steer. POO!”

Luna looks so sweet.  Love the pictures of the little princess.  I think she’s a natural born shopper smile  I wonder if Sol, Benny, and Henry gave her a list of what they wanted too?  She’s so darn cute!

I do the same with my kids so they don’t get the idea something bad will happen if they go for a ride. They like our local Petsmart. I take my time and walk around the whole store as it’s pretty big and the kids get a good workout.

My Romeo is just out of surgery.  He was really sick this morning, vomiting and wanting to sit on my lap with that “please help me Mom” look.  I took him to the vet and x-rays revealed some type of blockage.  Two incisions revealed 2-1/2 knee highs in his intestines.  I can’t figure that out because I haven’t worn knee highs for over a year and can’t find anything else in the house.  He came out of the surgery fine but the vet wants to keep him over the weekend so he can keep a close eye on him.

Please, would appreciate your good thoughts and prayers for my baby.  It will be a long weekend without him.  Thanks everybody.

Oh, Sue VDB, our thoughts and prayers are coming your way!  How very scary!  Thank goodness Romeo came out of the surgery fine.  We’re all wishing him a very speedy recovery!  I hope they let you visit with him over the weekend smile

Pug hugs and kisses from Annabelle, Piper, Tessa, Marley, Eve, and me smile

Sue,  Romeo and you are both definately in my prayers!  I hope for a good, smooth recovery for him.  And a great call on your part to act as quickly as you did in taking him to the vet.  Those knee highs must really seem delectably delicious, because he’s not the only little guy I’ve heard of who’s done that.  Love to him from Bennie and Martha

Sue,

I am so sorry to hear about Romeo.  It is really good that you got him to the vet so quickly.  Please know that we all will be thinking about you and Romeo.  I’m sure it will be a long weekend, but before you know it you’ll have your little guy back home with you.

Take care,
-Corrine

Of course you have my thoughts and prayers Sue VDB!  I’m sure Romeo will be all better very soon and back home with you good as new!  I’m so glad you were able to read the “help me” look…Prompt action on your part probably saved your baby!
