Not Interested

Luna

Luna has had absolutely no interest in the new dog bed. Furthermore, she does not care that the cat claimed it. The only dog bed she cares about is her puff ball bed. That is the only bed she needs and nobody better lay in it and mess up her divot. She worked hard getting it to fit her little body perfectly.

Have a wonderful weekend!

*giggle*  The girl knows what she wants!  Luna, you do a wonderful job getting that puff just right…it looks like it was made for your perfect, petite body.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone…spend lots of time cuddling the puggas!

That exact bed is favorite in our house too!  Mary Abigail will actually go into Henry’s crate to claim it.

Luna’s straight, stiff legs reminds me of
Abby when I try to make her go where she doesn’t want to.  Luna doesn’t look like she’s going to move either.

Here’s a smooch for you three little Puggies - and Cupid.

Is anyone else having trouble with the OBP site?  Mine just keeps searching and searching and searching before finally getting to it.  Then I couldn’t get it to accept my comment on the featured Pug.

Sue - how is Abby doing with her physical therapy?  Is she getting stronger each day?

Everyone have a good weekend.

Sweet picture of Luna, who seems to have thought about ladylike positions after yesterday’s post.  And speaking of that, I literally heard Tom Jones singing “She’s a lady” all day looonnnng in my head.

I have to agree with everyone else, she is a lady who knows what she wants. Her hard work of making it conform to her shows.  Enjoy Looney Tunes.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Kelly, you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Please keep in touch.

You dear kind wonderful souls, I am truly overwhelmed with your kindness and love. I see that it takes a pug lover to understand how awful it is when they leave. All pets are lovely but sometimes there’s that one. Everywhere I look I see her being adorable. I can’t bear to wash my undershirt where she urped on the way to the hospital. She was our shedder & I used to vigilently clean but now the thought of sucking up her last hair… I feel guilty wondering if there was some sign I missed. I’m trying hard with the others but they seem to be just hanging in there like me. I can’t thank you Dear Ones enough for all your messages. It meant the world to me. Much love from us. Thank you for sharing your losses too. You are all angels.

Dear Kelly,
You are experiencing what I believe we all have probably gone through…what did I miss, what if, etc., etc.?  You missed nothing, and unfortunately it simply was Lola’s time to go.  I experienced the same thing with Bo Peep, and all my ohter babies I have lost over the years.  We berate ourselves, but in the end, there was nothing else you could have done.  Please be at peace with yourself for that.  I think all of our at OBPland hurt along with you, but of course none more than you.  You had a very special little girl and she will be forever in your heart, but somehow we go on.  Hugs to all of you, and I sincerely pray to find peace.  Sue VDB

Kelly,

I am glad you wrote today as I have been thinking about you non-stop.  Sue VDB is right…we all went through the same thoughts and feelings as you and, sadly, sometimes there is nothing we can do.  My heart just breaks because I am reading your words and they mirror my own thoughts and actions so much.  The sweatshirt I wore holding my precious angel Riley those last moments is packed away, not washed, and will never be…I have some of his fur as well amongst every other plausible thing I could keep ‘just as it was’ to try and hang on to his smell, his essence, any, and every, piece of my boy.  Watching my Baxter grieve for his brother was the second hardest thing I’ve been through, second to Ri’s passing, so I also understand how devastating it feels to watch our other babies come to terms with the sudden absence of their brother/sister.  It killed me that he couldn’t understand just where and why Riley was no longer by our side.  I am now sobbing so must end here as I am still at work.  Please know we all are here for you and that you have many, many thoughts and prayers going up for you and all your babies.

Sincerely, Heather

Luna, a bed with no competition may be the best kind, especially if it is well broken in and smells loverly like a doggy would like baby girl:-)

Hugs and my prayers going to you Kelly <3

pug mama is officially up and running with the laptop and wireless at home now, so I am officially BACK!!! Woo HOO!!!!!  This has been the longest 2 months of my life, and I have felt so detached from everything!!!!!  Much love and pug hugs to all of you!

Kelly,
Sue VDB and Heather said it best.  There is nothing you missed.  Please don’t beat yourself up; I know, easier said than done. Thinking of you and your other babies.

Kelly, more hugs to you and yours.

Pug Mama, glad you are back.  I think I would have felt the same as you.  A computer has become a big part of my life.  Monday my services switch over to another service and I don’t know how long I will be without access to my computer to check in on OBP, but I will be able to check in first thing at least.

Heather - you expressed yourself so well to Kelly and echo our coping strategies as we deal with their being gone and trying to accept it.

Kelly - you are in my thoughts and prayers this weekend.

Sue - as for little Miss Happy Dance, don’t weaken even if she tells you she’ll do it later.  It sounds like you are doing what you need to for Abby.  You go girl!
