Post Dog Park Ice Cream

Since the boys & Luna had done such an awesome job being social, yet well behaved puggies at the dog park, we decided to stop for a frozen treat at our local ice cream hang out.  Ritter’s has the best “ice cream” in town.  It is actually frozen custard but if you call it that no one really knows what you are talking about.  Anyway, we made a little stop on the way home from the dog park.  The dogs were in luck because one of the flavors of the day was pumpkin.  Even though pumpkin is their least favorite part of their daily meals (turkey, yogurt, oatmeal and pumpkin), it is a little different when the pumpkin flavor now has some sugar and is magically transformed into a frozen treat.  Then it becomes quite yummy!

Check out the photo of Henry on top of the ice cream cone statue.  He truly believes he is King of the World!  They were all feeling fine as they scarfed down their doggie dish of yummy pumpkin ice cream.  We love the weekends and we are sure the pugs do, too!
