Sleighbelle loves her babies. She doesn’t lay on them, but she will go over into the middle of them, and sit down. I’ll come into the den, and there she is, pretending to be a stuffed baby! What that really means is that she wants me to get on the floor and play with her and the babies-which of course, I do.
Aww…Benjamin looks vaugely annoyed that you disturbed his slumber. How is it that pugs have the ability to look annoyed, sad, and vaugely gassy all at the same time. Must be some rare pug ennui.

Martha - Puffy is like Benjamin’s security blanket. He takes that thing everywhere!
And Adrian has her “Hammy”, or Semi-soft,Squeaky Latex Hamburger in human vernacular. I don’t think it’s quite as soft and fluffy as Benjamin’s Puffy, but it seems to “float her boat” all the same! Ah Pugs…..can’t figure ‘em out, can’t live without ‘em!
I think it’s a pretty advanced emotional desire to have a security blanket. More confirmation that pugs are smart!
Lola has a stuffed pig that she carries with her, sleeps with, is never far from. It’s interesting she chose that as her favorite toy because it was the first one I bought for her as a welcome to the family present. I took it with me when I went home to NY to get her, and it flew back with us on the plane. She slept in a little basket at my mom’s and the pig was always tucked in with her.
