Ritual

Luna

The pugs all have their odd ways when it comes to settling down in their beds. Sol & Henry fall into the "circler" category. They get into their bed and turn around a few times before they plop themselves down. Benjamin & Luna fall into the "scratcher" category. They basically prop themselves up on their head and then use their front paws to scratch as fast as they can. It is quite an amusing sight to watch Luna or Ben practically doing a head stand so they can get their bed just right. And for once, I finally got a few shots of Luna in action when she was trying to settle.

Baxton does that too! When hes extremely tired hell scratch for the longest time. One the couch, my bed, his bed, blankets, anywhere that he wants to crash.

Romeo can be a “rooter” too.  Most of the time when he is sleeping by himself he will simply plop closest to where I am.  If I am sitting down he will plop down next to me, but if he decides to move a little way from me he “roots”.  Great pictures of litle Miss Luna.

Beauty is a circler and the grand finale is the , of courser,the plop! If she didn’t get it right the first or second time, she goes for round three! Thank heaven-the third time is (usually) the final round! Have a great week-end all in OBP land!

Sleighbelle can be a bit of a scratcher, but she has mastered the “plop”!  She shakes the entire bed when she does that.  Oh, and I finally got her the planet pooch bed that OBP bought.  She loves it!  She looks like a Princess in all her regalness…of course, there must be her blankie and a baby in there with her….

That is so cute! Indy and Gus only scratch their bed when they are playing. Gus although is a huge circler.. sometimes doing 4 or 5 times till he can lay down. Although with stuffies that he wants to lay down on he will paw at them a few times. smile

I’ve got one more to add-Lucy is a “burrower.” She has to be under the covers on our bed, under a towel when she’s in her bed, and under my sweatshirt (when I have one on) when she’s in my lap! Of course, once she gets underneath the covers, circle, circle, circle, PLOP!

What a cute photo of Luna scratching! She is a circler and a scratcher must be.  I am sure just what Cooper is just yet.  I know he loves to scratch on things, like cardboard boxes, and the like, but he pretty much does it all.  He is a comical little guy and ALL PUGGY.  I love the Pug Tilt.  I wish he didn’t look so worried.
