Road Trip

Henry

Thanksgiving is a big travel holiday, but we decided to take a little trip to Maryland just before the holiday season officially kicked off. We had an important event to attend and thought it would be cool if Benjamin and Henry had a chance to visit where they grew up and it would be awesome to see what Luna thinks of Maryland. So since the pugs were coming with us, the only way were were going to get there was by car.

The boys have made the trip from Maryland to Florida on 4 different occasions, so they are old pros. However, we were a little concerned because they haven't made the trip in a little over 8 years. Luna does great in the car so we weren't worried about the long drive. We were more concerned with how she would handle the weather. Luna thinks that Central Florida is Antarctica and Maryland would be as far North as she has ever traveled.

But the pugs did not disappoint, they did fantastic on the long drive. They slept in the car and did great during pit stops. Their favorite stops were the ones when they ate. We would pop the trunk, get their bowls from the cooler and set them up next to the car. They would chow like they were at home in the kitchen.

We always wondered how our 3 would do on a long road trip….

Since we live in Northern VA, our guys are ready to pack their bags and move to FL.  They wear sweaters and coats when the temps drop into the 40’s or below and trips outside are quick, just business!

Looking forward to more pictures of the road trip!

I won’t take up too much space but I do want to tell you kids how much I appreciate your cards and gifts.  I sure get warm feelings from each and every one of you and you are amazing.  We’ve had almost daily trips to the University of Michigan (75 miles) and semi-long waits but everyone there have been amazing in their care…not quite as amazing as you guys, however.  Thank you wonderful people!

Did the pugs realize going to Maryland meant coming back as well.  Can’t wait for more of these pics.

As long as food is involved they were just fine. Each pit stop was full of anticipation.

Glad you had some time away, but also happy for your return.

Huckle, so glad to hear from you.

Huckle—-so glad things are going well at University of Michigan—Take care.

Daisey & Solsie are old pros having taken several trips to Kansas & New Mexico. Daisey leads with trips to new York and points in between. She curls up and sleeps while Solsie alternates between naps & keeping watch. Huckle so glad to hear things are going well and continue to keep you in prayer. A road trip with three good travelers is great!  I’m so glad it went well!

Huckle, I’m happy to hear from you here!  And I’m glad to know the people giving you care are so good.  Prayers are continuing for you.
