She might just kill me one day

Luna

Luna has this thing were she likes to stand on my chest when I am laying on my back.  This is all well and good except that she places her front paws on my neck.  There have been a few times that the little girl has left me gasping for air.

She did this the other day while I was laying on the sofa and of course my active imagination started running.  I could just see that one day, Luna innocently comes to stand on me, overstays her welcome and ends up suffocating me.  The coroner would no doubt determine my cause of death as suffocation and I’m sure the crack CSI’s would notice the odd ligature marks on my neck.  That would then lead them to come back to the house to get paw impressions from the pugs and the cat.  They would then use those paw impressions to determine that little Luna was the one that did the deed.

Ummm…do you think that I need to lay off the crime dramas for a little bit?

Lola's Mum

My wee Lola’s favourite place to sleep is stretched across my collarbone/throat.

I have often had similar thoughts to yours, but I think that Lola knows where her food comes from, so it wouldn’t be intentional…unless she considered it payback for the snow boots I made her wear last night….

Ahahahahahaha…that was a great one.  Now I have a mental CSI drama playing in my head…Luna, the boys, and the cat in the interrogation room…hehehehehehe

That is exactly what Genevieve does too.
It wasn’t too bad until she became such a
portly little pug.

And this is what Bennie likes to do too!  I think this is a great example of how pugs do not recognize the concept of other’s personal space!

“In the criminal justice system,pug-based offenses are considered especially heinous. In New York City, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad, known as the Special Victims Unit. These are their stories.”

Hence something that I say often and it may even end up on my gravestone (among other things, like “I am not a napkin”):

I am not a jungle gym!

Bunny's human

Bunny’s favorite way to use me is to scratch her butt against my back, my front- where ever. Can’t say it brings murder to mind…. but I’m pretty sure I sometimes smell like a pug’s derriere.

Patty,
I am a HUGE Law & Order fan, and your comment was priceless!  Looks like Luna will need to enter the Pug Protection Program…move to the middle of nowhere and change her name and hair color!

Yes, and I’m sure Grissom would make a pithy remark, Horatio will rip his sunglasses off indignantly and put his hands on his hips, and then Warrick will take Luna away in little paw-cuffs.

LMAO! I know what you mean. Kami likes snuggling up on my chest and likes sleeping there as well.
Personally, I am always afraid that she will fall off the bed and hurt herself. So the other night she wanted to lay on me. I had to scoot her off and without knowing she toppled over and looked at me like “Hello George I was laying there!” I almost died laughing at her. I picked her up and smooched her wrinkled nose.

I love my pug pup Kami.
