I can not express to you how much Henry loves to bask in the sun. It is not uncommon to find Henry sprawled out in the yard like this soaking up every beam of sun he can find. He sure does make himself comfortable in the process of catching his rays.

As soon as I saw “Sun Lover” I knew this was about Henry. Henry certainly knows how to maximize. Go Henry.

Henry…you look wonderful. I want to rub your tummy too. And smooch you too! Basking in the sun sounds nice but only if it’s with you and your brother and sister (and Cupey too). Otherwise, I’ll take my chilly fall morning. 
Heading to the pumpkin patch with the kiddos. We’ll have to bundle up!!!

What a picture…ROLF. Henry, Henry. Sue states, yes he looks as if he’s begging for a tummy rub. That tummy is so inviting.
As has been said, hopefully the weekend is healing for all and that the new week starts out without concern.
Let’s start a petition to have Henry be named the “Official State Pug” of the Sunshine State! I’m pretty sure that up until now Florida has neglected this, so it’s a great opportunity for us!
As “Anita-Somebody” once said: A day w/out a pug is like a day w/out sunshine . . . . Well, then she SHOULD have!

Load up on that Vitamin D Henry! It’s the best for keeping the blues away! You must keep that healthy glow! Lilo also loves to lay in the sun. No matter how warm it is she never seeks shade. I often say that she loves the sun, but she’s too goofy to know she’s black and it’s not the best when it’s hot out. Since buying her cooling vest this summer though i’m a little bit more relaxed about allowing her to lay out. Lol, i can’t believe i just said “lay out” about my dog.
We are back to the vet(our usual one, thank goodness) on Monday to follow-up and see if Lilo’s all better. They want her before she pees on Monday morning, so that’s going to be a fun car ride. I’m hoping they don’t do the same thing to get the urine sample as the other clinic. They are more holistic so i’m thinking they may do it the old fashioned way!
We are off to the Howl-o-ween fundraiser for Bright Eyes Dog Rescue on Sunday!

LILO (n’GWEN): My vet doesn’t open until 8a.m. Princess Bella & I are up by 6a.m. How do you keep her from pee-diddling for 2 hours - espec. getting in the car for “go”??!! Couldn’t you just catch her first squat o’ the day?
Wonder if it’s something to be said about black pugs? Does it seem they are more prone to allergies and associated malladies?
Cranberry pills and Science Diet c/d seem to keep the UTI’s away for the most part. I’m going to track down those venison/cranberry twists as well. Don’t want her getting tired of her duck/sweet potato and duck/apple chews!
Mary, Lilo tends to be a late sleeper (makes it hard for me to get up some days lol). She will easily go from 10pm at night til 10am without needing to go out. I can carry her out to the car, but it’s he whining until she gets to go that drives me cuckoo. I’m not sure why they want her before she pees, rather than letting me catch it. Unfortunately I woke with a migraine today and we were going nowhere, so we are going in on Wednesday now. Which I think is best anyways because the nurse in me says they should be done antibiotics for 72hrs before you check again lol. The name of those treats is called Wild Bites. Couldn’t remember it last time.

Awwwww…what a delightful picture of Hank! Mr. Cole is with you Henry; he can’t get enough of the sunny beams either. Enjoy every drop of sunshine Handsome Henry…sure wish I was sunbathing with you! Had to use the ice scraper on the car this morning. :-( Brrrrrrr!
