TGIF

Luna

Is it just me or has this been a long week? I guess having time off for the holidays has made this week drag by, but I am so very glad the weekend is just around the corner.

No big plans for the weekend, but I know the pugs are looking forward to watching a few NFL playoff games. The pugs love watching football because it means at least 3 good hours of snuggling on the couch.

I hope you and your pugs have a wonderful weekend!

Sweet Luna.  The looks as if she’s about half an inch from snoozing.  Sweet dreams, little girl.

Enjoy the weekend everyone!!
I agreed… weekends are for extra long cuddle times with our fur-babies!!

Sleighbelle and I are not much for the football, but the snuggling on the couch?  GO TEAM!!!  I just got a new super comfy sectional and Sleighbelle has already laid claim to the curved section.  She has a new blankie and she is living large!

Hope all your fav teams win…

Does it mean you think about OBP too much when you dream about the puggers? I had a dream that Luna was sleeping on me! How funny is that?! I was laying in bed and she was sleeping on my tummy like Pip usually does. But Pip was snuggled in at my side. I was petting Luna and was so excited that she was there! How funny!

Snuggling on the couch sounds good but we have a busy weekend. My baby (my human baby) smile  turns three on Sunday so we are having a birthday party for her. It should be fun!

Snuggle in everyone and have a great weekend.

Pug Hugs to all! Gina & Pip

I’m not a football fan either, but the snuggling on the couch I definitely go for.

Corrine, hope the weekend refreshes you, and I will be looking forward to Monday OBP.

Gina, what a fantastic dream…would be even greater if it was real and not a dream.  Happy birthday to your daughter.

Hope all of you have a good weekend.

I am with you Corrine…this day can’t end soon enough.

Pretty Miss Luna, you look so cozy and gorgeous…enjoy all that couch time with mom and your bros!

Gina, I am so jealous of your dream!!  Luna come visit me in slumber land!  Happy birthday to your lil’ girl, 3 is a great age!

I just said to John the other day how I am bound and determined to meet Henry, Benjamin, and Luna in real life (and Corrine, too, of course!)!!

I hope everyone gets copious amounts of cuddle time with their fur babies this weekend!!

Love and pug hugs from Heather, Baxter, and Cole

Sue VDB and Heather ~ Thank you for the birthday wishes for my daughter. She is quite excited for her Barney birthday party.

And yes, I was quite excited in the dream that I was actually petting Luna!!! I remember in the dream she was a very heavy sleeper. I thought I was bothering her but she was snoring away. Funny how we remember certain things from dreams. And Heather that would be awesome to meet the three puggers in real life. They are like celebrities. Oh yes, Corrine you too. wink

Pug Hugs!

Gina, talk about sweet dreams!  I’m going to try to order up that dream for myself tonight!

Another dream I’m working on is to have Texas A&M win tonight!  (I’m an Aggie-Mom)

Sweet dreams to everyone in OBP Land!

Hellen, so sorry you have been so sick.  That’s why I get an annual flu shot because I know if I came down with the flu I would wind up in the hospital.  Hope you continue to get better.

Martha - Bugsy and I will be rooting for your Aggies tonight. And rooting for Auburn on Monday!! We live in the SEC but can’t stand LSU! Bugs and I will be sorry to see college football end but it’s not long until baseball season!
Luna looks so comfy!! Bugsy decided to stay in bed 20 minutes longer than anyone else this morning. His daddy even put the comforter over him!!

Martha

Thank you Marynell!  I enjoy rooting for the Rangers during baseball season.  (We sports fans are kept so busy with another sport always just coming along.)

Hellen, Bennie and I are so sorry you’ve been so sick.  Hope your recovery goes speedily along!

Luna, hope you and your brothers get some good napping in on Sunday for the playoffs smile  (and maybe an extra treat during halftime!)

My UW Badgers blew the Rose Bowl last weekend, so disappointed, despite having Abby and her buddy Tessa cheering them on wearing their Bucky Badger t-shirts!

Hellen, get well soon!!!  From my having worked as a flu shot nurse in the past, I know it can truly knock you out, but that the shot has true benefits in the years they get the strains right.

As for the Abby-dabby, Abby will be 13 in a couple weeks (Jan. 23rd). We visited the doggy eye doctor today, and got yet ANOTHER new diagnosis for her eyes. Given that in human years, she is pushing 85-90, I’m gonna quit Googling and just cherish my baby girl. Uveitis (acute), dry eye, and intraocular fat deposits (the new thing that can have a multitude of causes that we can run a very high bill up for the differential diagnosis, depending on how deeply we want to look into it). Cancer, infection, parasites, too much blood stream fat, etc etc.  At the rate she is going lately, I am afraid I won’t have the money to get the OBP calendar :(  I have had a hard time coming on here recently, cuz her age has felt so painful this season for some reason, not to mention another episode of the tracheal flare during December.  Prayers for Abby <3

pug mama, I have Abby on my prayer list.  I am so sorry you are having such a difficult time.  Know that all of us OBPers are here for you.

Pug mama I will say a prayer for Abby and you know that we are all here for you if you need to talk I know it is very hard when one of our babies is sick when my Abby had to have two mass cell tumors removed in october then hip surgery the end of October I was so stressed out and scared I am very thankful she came through fineI am hoping your precious Abby will be fine

Pug Mama, I am so sorry to hear of this news about your precious Abby…it hits home for me because of my boy’s age also, 13.  Praying for health and healing for Miss Abby.  I will be thinking of you both.  Give her a smooch from me and love and cherish every moment…

Pug mama - just read of your trials with Abby (my dil calls our Abby, Abby-dabby too) and hope for the very best for her.  It is so scary to be so worried over these loves of our lives and feel helpless.  You have a whole slew of Puggers sending positive vibes your way.

Hellen, sending some positive vibes your way as well as you recover.  It’s good to see you’ve retained your sense of humor through this.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, kids!

I prefer Abby-Zabba but she is your puggie!  Pugmama, as our little ones get older, I think the most important things are comfort and love…We can’t keep them forever unfortunately but we can make their later years as happy as possible!
