The Anatomy of the Chase

The four pictures below were taken in a 2 second span while Benjamin and Henry were chasing each other on the beach. After, I pulled the pictures off my camera, I couldn't help but laugh.

Benjamin and Henry

Nothing unusual going on here. Henry caught up to Benny and is showing him a little brotherly love.

Benjamin and Henry

Benjamin, quickly turns the tables on Henry and swings around and is doing his best to pounce on Henry.

But, Henry swings his hips wide and from the looks of the sand it looks like Benny is hitting the brakes.

And the next photo in the series is the one above. I have no idea how the boys ended up like this. Apparently, Benjamin zigged when he should have zagged. And the look on Henry's face with his ears flipped up is priceless. I'm not sure what he is doing with his paw either.

A lot can go on in 2 seconds.

The last two photos of Henry are two of my favorite puggie photos of all time, of all pugs.  Just look at the pure joy on his face…it’s priceless.  I think the last one is going up on my wallpaper because it makes my heart warm and my smile big, something I could use more of, thanks Hank!

My second comment is…what camera do you have again?  My biggest complaint with just about every camera I’ve tried is that they don’t take pics fast enough.  I want to be able to snap 4 photos in 2 seconds!

This post was just awesome…loved seeing the frolicing broken down with your awesome, as always, commentary, Corrine.  Have fun gang and send us some sun and warmth so we can get on the beach!!

These photos are fantastic, and capture the pure joy the pugs were experiencing. If I have the time I will be coming back several times today to look at these.  Thank you Corrine.

What great photos!!! I love Benny’s body in the last picture. He seems all round and puggish. I could just squeeze him!! And I’m with Heather ~ your commentary Corrine is always perfect!!

Oh, oh, oh…where did you learn such words, Henry?

The leash holders are having to do some fancy footwork to not get entangled.

Obviously Benny is a master of levitation as photo #1 and #4 show of his back legs.

Such a delightful series of photos, Corrine.  When I die I want to come back as one of your Pugs!  Heaven.

Those pics are really adorable. Reminds me of Genevieve, she can get wound up for sure and knows no fear… of the riding mower, the tractor, the cows, the milk trucks going down the road, etc. etc. She thinks she is Billy Bob.

These are wonderful pictures!  To me, nothing is more amusing than seeing two pugs tangle with each other.

My son’s pug, Norman, often comes over and he and Bennie play like that.  I love it!!!

My favorite is picture #2.  Henry’s ears are flung back and his expression is so intensely focused!!!  And both Benjamin and Henry are moving so fast their tails have come uncurled!

Hi Heather,

The camera I am currently using is a Canon Rebel XSI.  One of the things I like the most about it the continuos shooting.  It makes it a lot easier to capture shots of the pugs.
