Time to Go Potty

The last thing we do before bed is take the pugs out to go potty. However, lately, Benny has had a different plan.

I wonder if you said “Treat” in there, if you would have the same apathetic response? Or he is developing some selective hearing in his old age???

Abby is back home. But with the heat and stress of it all, her wrinkle “rot” has blown up, so we have some major wrinkle stinkage to get on top of. ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww :(~

Maybe it’s too hot to go outside.

Had a very sad story on the news. Three pugs, in the ac all day, went out at 10 pm for their potty run. Two came in, one didn’t. They went looking for Petunia. She was by the fence and had a heat stroke. Mind you this was 10 pm at night. Lesson? Out to do the business, and right back inside. I’m sure there were other circumstances involved, but little Petunia did not survive.

I have noticd, even in a nice cool house, any type of activity makes me clammy.

Everyone, please take care and watch those babies.

Last night’s low was 77F, the lowest in several days.

There are so many things about this video that I love. I love how Henry and Looney are waiting for Benny. I love how Benny is being sweet but still pretending like he doesn’t know what you’re asking him but my favorite absolutely is Looney’s tail. Wagging the entire time. Yet you can tell she is sleepy. Love it Love it!

Sue VDB ~ that story made my tummy hurt. I’m so sorry that pug didn’t make it. But she is comfortable in heaven now but that doesn’t help her family. Ugh! Keep those babies inside!

Now I ask you, seriously, could Benny get ANY cuter? Maybe he just didn’t have to go…you know as we get older, our bladder needs change! Toeby gets up faithfully EVERY night to go poopie and pee on the pad, usually around 2-3 o’clock so I’m always up in the middle of the night cleaning up poopie! I don’t know why he does that, we let them out every hour or so, but he’ll always wait to wake me in the wee hours…

The video is super cool, especially as Lune tries to show him where the door is and then comes back after him.

Karen, oh can I identify. In the middle of the night, Abby will jump (yes jump) on me and make noises in the back of her mouth until I reluctantly get up.. On these night time potty runs, Gracie gets up too, quick as a wink. She can’t miss an opportunity to pee on Abby. I think they should be sleeping. Georgie is. And he’s probably dreaming of places he can mark the next day. We seem to have a pee issue in our house.

Pug mama , yea for Abby in getting home. Now don’t you two melt!
