Tuckered

Henry

What a busy, busy weekend. Henry is pooped because of all the holiday supervising he had to do over the weekend. He had to make sure the holiday cards got out in the mail, presents were bought, wrapped and some of them shipped. Plus, he had to be a good boy so he would stay on Santa's good list.

Oh Henry, you look soooo sleepy. You deserve a nice rest after all that supervising. Sleep well and don’t worry, i bet you are on the nice list.

Henry, I am sure you will receive an extra gift for being a good supervisor. Did you delegate most of the work to Benny and Luna?

Oh Henry, I’m sure you are tuckered out from supervising but it can’t be easy being that darn handsome. Sleep well little pug pug and snore away. Smooches to you!

Pug Hugs to everyone from Bella & me.

How adorable!  You can almost see his happy pug dreams. You go Henry.  This pic is a keeper.

Now we have a crisis with Abby.  Last night I noticed her squinting her right eye and thought I had scratched her eye or something.  Off to the vet today and he said she has a large ulcer and one part of it is so deep that she’s in danger of having her eye removed if that happens.  For now she has three different meds and I need to make a chart like you did, Corrine.  Is there anything harder to do for a dog than putting stuff in their eye.  And Abby battles, literally, the whole way through the regimen.  She needs a few prayers from you guys and crossed paws.

Huckle, you know prayers are going up to St. Francis.  When I started doing Annie’s ear flush and meds, I papoosed her with a bath towel and put her between my legs with a grip on her…it reallh works.  It was the only way I could keep her still enough.  It also helped I had a couple of treats in my pocket and told her she was a good girl and gave her a treat afterwards.  Food is such as wonderful motivator for ourl puggers.

Oh my goodness Huckle! Poor Abby. And poor you! Try the towel thing. Sounds like it might work. Keep us posted! smile
