No matter how hard I try to be a morning person, there is nothing better than catching a few extra hours of sleep on the weekends. Lucky for me the pugs feel the same way.

That is exactly what the pugs and I did this morning! I love piling all 5 of them in the bed with me 
I love the picture of Sol, she is so precious!
Used to be an early morning person, but since I’ve been retired for several years, I find myself sleeping in more and Romeo is right there with me. Enjoy yourself sweet Sol.
Such sweet eyes. Oh I can’t take it. I’d be smooching that little face then laying right besides Sol to have another little nap.
Wheezy, my girl pug, wakes me up early by doing her little whimppers and is the first one back in bed “for five more minutes.”
I was given a special treat this morning - the Pugs let me sleep in until 7AM!! ....a wonderful change from the usual 6am wake up call….*yawn*
sweet sol,what a cutie doll.Best thing is waking up with these little angels laying all around you.All mine sleep in with mom and even though mom gets up,they tend to lounge a little longer.

My Toby likes to sleep under the covers and I have to wake him up in the am to get him out for a walk before it gets too warm. Early mornings work in Florida!
I love these pics and comments-my husbad thinks we’re the only ones that have “BED BUDDIES”-now I have proof we’re not! Beauty starts getting me up at 5am-daisey is good till I drag her out of bed or she decides 6 is good. Whichever comes first! Beauty is visiting in New Mexico for a few weeks-she gets summer vacation-I don’t! Oh the sweet life of pugs!!
Sue S, how is it that Beauty gets to go on vacation and you don’t? Lucky little pug. And yes, pugs make the best little bed buddies, even if they crowd you.
I find it soooo amazing that all our little pug buddies like to do alot of the same things, however quirlky they are!
Mr. Skittles likes to sleep in, all covered under the covers, more so on cold winter mornings.

I envy you folks that can sleep in late! My eyes automatically pop open at 5:30, no matter what day it is…And C.J. and Toeby are right there, staring at me! “Feed us, Ma!” Then they nap and I’m just trying to go back to sleep for a little more naptime!

I am not a morning person; never have been, never will be. Getting those extra hours of slumber on a weekend is my idea of bliss! And luckily, Sleighbelle is right there with me…and of course, slumber is best when it is shared with a pug who is a bed hog!!
