Raina was abandoned in the side yard of a pet shop by an unknown person. It is obvious that she has been sorely neglected. Her medical issues are being addressed by our rescue vet and with the help of a foster parent, we expect her to fully recovery from her neglected status. She is believed to be about 4-5 years old and is blind. Her hearing, however is perfect and when you call her, she comes to you immediately. She is full of life and has a very loving and happy disposition. She is going to see an eye specialist so we will know if there is a chance for her to recover some of her sight.

This is my boy, Harry. He is now 8 years old and he came to live with me when he was 5 from a rescue organization. He is my shadow and is by side every second.

Ziggy has come back into rescue through no fault of his own. His father is a snow bird who found out that his summer home up north will no longer allow dogs. Ziggy is now 9 years old and loves to play with his toys, his favorite toy being a fuzzy stuffed ball. He walks well on the leash and is totally housebroken. He has a very friendly disposition. Ziggy does have to be on special food because he has had bladder stones in the past. He initially came into our rescue about a year ago from a high kill shelter and was a very sick boy. We nursed him back to health, found what we thought was his forever home, but now he is searching for a forever home again.
