My next life I really want to be a Pug…..

What a Beautiful Baby. Sweet Dreams Birgy and Pug Hugs and Kisses for you from Georgia.
Arno, I don’t want to wait till my next life! I want to be a pug NOW!!!
Birgy-Hey guys keep it down i am trying to think. Lets see one cheese burger with onions tomatoes pickles and a diet cream sauce. Yes perfect. Maybe a couple of french flies with that;maybe a little ice cream with chocolate sauce to wash it down with good measure. A good diet snack before supper.
Birdy, there isn’t to much beauty and contentment left in this world but when I see you I am just so realived I can come on this site and see both of those things in all of the beautiful pug I get to see. Thank you for sharing.
OMG what a cutie pie! A little sleeping pug all snug as a pug in a rug!! xxxooo Sooooooooooo cute!
Hey Wayne,
That sounds more like MY before-meal snack! If I double-up I’l be happy to share with Birgy. He looks like he might wake up hungry.
Sweet Birgy have many sweet dreams of running through fields with lots of Puggie treats on stems just for you and your friends.
Love older puggies…
aww wonder what he is dreaming about…treats, chasing squirrels or going on a walk
Oh Birgy, what a sweet baby you are!! Sweet dreams! Tell your mama or daddy to tell us more about you!
Once upon a time there lived a puggy named Birgy. Birgy was getting on in years and was finally beginning to take on the facial characteristics of a harp seal….( ALL PUGS do this!) One afternoon after a particularly long day of playing, eating, and walkies, Birgy needed a nap (although he frequently delighted in any opportunity to nap….and found that his soft, plush bed had been taken by his human for a washing. Now Birgy had any number of spots that a puggy could nap…..but where to go?....First he tried his cardboard box, but there was too much noise .....in the kitchen….Then he tried the living room because the rug was as good a place as any….but he was lonely and his human wasn’t around to provide him comfort…..FINALLY Birgy found just the right place….he used all his “senior” pug strength to leap onto a soft, bundle of warm sheets. He carefully made a nest for himself and settled into a deep puggie slumber. Now Birgy dreams of supper….. and treats .....ah life is good!
Birgy, you have truly stolen my heart!’
I agree with Leigh, when I see the sweet pug pictures every day on this site, I have a moment of peace. They have a way of bringing on a smile.
Birgy, I imagine that those sheets you are sleeping on smell sweet and clean. I agree with Helen, I like older pugs. They look so wise and gentle…. although they still have mischief in their eyes.

Boy if that isn’t a great picture. Birgy looks like pure contentment. If s/he were a cat, s/he’d be purring!
Robin, you make up the best vignettes. You must have a terrific inner life. Terrific talent! I hope you take all these stories and make them into a book for yourself.
Aww, Wayne, now you’ve made my puggies (and me) hungry.
Hey Huckle: I LOVE to write stories!!! I hate to say it, but my inner and outer? life is suffering…enormously! I have been disabled and out of work for more than 1 year, and just as I begin physical therapy, I get sick all over again and am in extreme pain. Now I’m wondering if I’ll ever go back to work. My mother died a few days ago, and my life is awful and could only be made better by a PUG or nine PUGS.
Thanks for the compliment….I never bother with keeping my stories….WHY…because nothing could take the place of a silky eared, velvety warm PUG in my arms!
Robin, I am sorry to hear of your mother’s death. And, I am sorry that you are on disability. I am also on disability, (with Multiple Sclerosis for 12 years) and I honestly believe it is because of my dear dogs that I am walking… no judgements, just love love love. (my dogs aren’t pugs, but they are rescue dogs and I love them so much..I am only a vicarious pug owner)
I agree with Huckle, you do write wonderful stories… perhaps that is your calling:)
Hugs from Saskatchewan, Canada
Oh,Thank you Lauren! I am so happy for you that you have dogs to keep you up and walking…If I could have a dog, I would, but my apartment does not allow them. I suppose I should be grateful; if I had a dog at this moment in my life, I would have to give it away because I am physically unable to take care of one…taking care of myself is a full-time job. I am always happy for people with PUGS and other Dogs that are in a truly loving home. You certainly have a heart of gold and in return you receive the special love and companionship that a pet can give.
Robin, I am so sorry you are going through such heartache with the death of your mother. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for comfort, and for your healing. I light candles in church, and I will be sure to light one for you. Jesus has you wrapped in his arms, just keep praying.
