Now look here, see.. I’m the big man here, see..we’ll get along just fine, see…
Once upon a time there was a pug named Bear who lived in the countryside and enjoyed all things countrified. He was a happy-go-lucky pug, but every little now and then he longed for some companionship…”.I know he thought to himself..I really do have it all, sleep, treats (too many to count), and most of all an adoring owner! Still, he thought to himself, it would be wonderful to have a playmate….
One day as his human was stroking Bear’s soft silky ears, he looked deep into Bear’s soulful eyes and could read the very same thoughts! Well, thought “human”, maybe its time to increase the family!!! The very next day, he placed a call..not just any call, but a very special call…...and he was inundated with responses!!
It seemed that there were an abundance of pug lets that were looking for an older sibling to teach them the “ropes of puggy life!!
Well, wouldn’t you know…in trots this little fellow and looks Bear in the eye…
and of course, Bear looks right back at him. The pug let says” I’m Bowser and I’m here to stay forever…. Now who could say no to that..
Bear reached down and nuzzled Bowser and gave him a big puggy kiss.. Now Bear and Bowser live, sleep, walk, and share treats every day!!!
I’ll show you how to wrap da hoomans awound ur licul paw!!! Just stick wif me!
Welcome back Robin. What a cute story.
This picture is more than adorable. Hope your human(s) see this and give us more information.
To friendship-pug treats all around. ONCE YOU EARN THE PUG S LOVE AND TRUST you have a friend forever. It does not take long either like the first couple of minute. The pug will check if you have the right scent to be a friend.
Oh this just melts my heart and the stories that follow cannot be topped! It reminds me of my Dixie and Daisey Mae even though their first meeting didn’t guite go like this. In the fenced front yard Dixie would run and take turns like a little barrell racer to keep Daisy Mae from leaving the gate to where I stood. Dixie and Daisy Mae are much like Mason and Lizzie in that they do truly love each other but Dixie is the wise older one. If you haven’t read “A Pugs Voice” blog about Mason and Lizzie, I highly recommend it. They are also on facebook.
Again, a very, very cute picture!
Whats better than two pugs…....nothing possibly ...but maybe just maybe two pugs when is a little sweet, sweet puppy pug like you. What a blessing to see such a beauty y y ful sight…
Love Love it!!!
All the stories made me chuckle but its the pic that “Made my day”. Happy week-end to all and Go Bronco’s-yes I like New England, too, so either way it will be a win-win for me! Pug hugs from the Colorado 4
“Listen up! I’ll tell you just how it’s gonna be!”
What a wonderful picture this is of two wonderful puggies! However, one thing confuses me. In the background, there appears to be a biscuit on the floor. But there’s no way two pugs could ignore that….is there?
Well hello! Glad to make your acquaintance! xxxooo
what a precious pair this picture is so adorable
Robin I loved your story
Oh dear - GG is double gobsmacked, Bowser you have a friend called ‘Bear’ for life!!!

How precious! Makes me want to get my little Coco a little black puggie plaything! Pugs love everbody, even a new brother or sister to show the ropes to! I brought a 4 week old kitten in that we found in the middle of the road. She is four years old now, but Coco treated her like she was her little baby and loved on her and gave her motherly kisses. Coco is a rescue too and she is so appreciative of a loving forever home that she welcomed our little Kitty Kitty so well. So I think she would love a baby pug! Now to convince my husband….
Here is what you could tell your husband…...“pug stock is way up and now is a great time to invest”........“the vacuum is broken and I want the best top model there is out there…(yes a pug!)....“I am having terrible nightmares and would feel safer if we had more watch pugs in the house”....“well, I just heard that Mrs. Jones got 2 new pugs..the very least you could do is provide me with just 1 more”.....
The little one doesn’t look real but oh so loveable. Yea Bowser and Bear.
Robin, you may be on to something… The story was fun as well.
Bowser and Bear- Wow love those names and moreover, I LOVE THE HANDSOME PAIR THAT GO WITH THEM. You 2 guys are pugalicious. Pug hug from MiniAndy Cooper and Mom Elizabeth in NY~
Bowser is the Dad / Bear is the pup. Sissy (Mom) had her 1st and last litter on 11/22/12 - 9 puppies. Bear happened to be the largest of them all. All the pups are doing just fine. We started puppy pad training at 3 wks. When is warms up, then we will have Bear start going out with Mom / Dad. We are keeping Bear. All the others also went to good homes. Bear grabbed the milk bone right after that and run to his carrier and kept it all to his self.
Maria, thank for the story of Bowser and Bear. Wow…nine pups, that’s a big litter. Thank you for finding good homes, and thank you for getting Sissy spayed.
I hope you put that adorable picture on your wall. It is precious beyond words.
Flat nose to flat nose i like you.
Sissy had her pups on 11//22/11, not 11/22/12. Just noticed that. I heard another quote that goes great with that picture. “To Nose you is to Love you”.
cute, Wayne
