“Shoving that ottoman over there wasn’t all that easy, let me tell you.” Great picture Chumlee.
The few, the tall, the proud, the curly tail. Pugs get more done before breakfast than most dogs do all day!!
Are you a waiting that special someone to get back home..I hope we see you on happy trails….you got to love the pug phylosyphy….play play and then play some more.
Hi handsome! I know that ottoman is placed there just for you. What a lovely view you must have, and I bet nothing gets by you.
are you waiting for momma or daddy to come home Chumlee or just enjoying the view
Thank you all for your comments on my sweet baby Chumlee ! He loves looking outside. Either out the kitchen window , or out the glass front door. He is addicted to the air conditioning , so he prefers being on the inside , but still seeing what is going on outside !
Chumlee: You is one mighty fine watchdog! So alert and what a striking physique you have!!!
Chumlee what a great watch pug you are!
So nice of your family to give you a place to watch the world go by!
Beautiful baby!
Do not pee in my pool now. That is for me to do mate.
Chumlee
Chumlee, are you pining for your ladylove puglette? You like a pug in love, pining away…..xxxooo to you sweetie pie!
Chumlee, what a nice name you have, and I bet it suits you.
that is a perfect place for you to watch the world. I think being addicted to air conditioning is a very good thing.
This site is one of my favorite, and I always get a smile from the pictures and from everyone’s comments.

Your are too handsome Chumlee. You must be President of the Neighborhood Watch. My two pugs love looking out the window too.
Chumlee,
You really are the lucky Pug to have your own special place where you can keep watch over everything.
You are a fabulous little Pugster.

Chumlee heard a sound and immediately dashed and jumped up onto his favorite spot to see what was going on…As he gazed out the window, he spotted workmen in the yard…HUMANS! He desperately wanted to go out and greet them but he stayed where he was, trying to figure out what was going on….They were digging up his yard…HIS YARD! “Oh my” thought Chumlee,”“HOW DARE THEY!”
Now Chumlee had every reason to be concerned….His was the most beautiful yard imaginable….the grass was greener than green and always kept mowed! There were beautiful trees (3 at last count) and 1 tree in particular was a favorite of Chumlee’s- it was a beautiful Frangipani and was ever so fragrant!) Chumlee LOVED nice smells!!.... Chumlee was frantic as he watched….what was happening?” HIS yard was the envy of every puggie and well, even every other human in the neighborhood! (WAS he bout to lose it?)
As he watched from his perch…Chumlee saw humans going back and forth with pipes and other paraphernalia…“WHAT WAS HAPPENING”....he kept asking himself.
Then, almost as quickly as it began, the humans began filling in the holes they dug up…“Well, he thought, maybe I WILL be able to GO OUT again instead of being confined to the backyard.”...
All of a sudden, Chumlee heard a whooshing sound and WATER began coming out of the ground…Chumlee loved to get wet and it appeared that the grass was sprouting water!
Chumlee began barking and snorting, he began jumping up and down from his “perch” on the ottoman….his human came into the room….“Chumlee” she said, “How would you like to go out?” Chumllee snuffled, snorted, and barked….(his way of saying YES!
The next thing you know, Chumlee was out, dashing and racing to and fro….through the new automatic sprinkler system! “Oh Pug” thought Chumlee…“TODAY is my lucky day!”
Another great story Robin. I can just see handsome Chumlee dashing through sprinklers. Sounds like a lot of fun.
Actually he was just watching his Daddy who was changing the oil in his truck , but your story is so much more exciting , and interesting than that !! Thanks !!
I just like to write stories! Glad you enjoyed it! Robin
Actually Chumlee loves to watch squirrels ! He likes to chase them , too ! He can spend hours at a time looking out that window for squirrels , or people walking by.
I believe it! My aunt once had a Boston Terrier named Mandy that loved to chase squirrels. In fact, if my aunt looked out into the backyard from the kitchen window and saw a squirrel, she’d say; “I think I see a squirrel”, and Mandy would start barking, my aunt would let her out, and Mandy would take off like a bullet down the back steps….of course, she never caught one, but it was so funny to watch her!
